Position Summary:

• Approval of all work requests for equipment maintenance and modifications related to improvements and safety of process and plant.
• Approval of requisition for new equipment and maintenance spares.
• Approval of Contractors’ daily timesheets.
• Approval of the daily maintenance activities and modifications in the plant.
• Approval of grade change maintenance activities, in consultation with production department
• Planning and managing the shutdown maintenance.
• Provide training needs of Maintenance team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and competencies to carry out their work in an efficient manner.
• Assessment and review of in-house contractors’ performance and the contract.
• Undertakes special assignments or projects as directed by the Manufacturing Director

Requirements:

• Degree in related discipline.
• Experiences in the chemical industry Singapore as Manager or Assistant manager.
• Experiences and knowledge about maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and static facilities.
• Experiences as E&I Process/Maintenance Engineer at chemical plant or manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge about and to be familiar with high voltage power supply/MCC, control panel and/or DCS design and system to manage establishment will be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be required to develop strategic plans relating to the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021 and the National Standards for Healthcare Food and drink. By providing a high-level operational and visual leadership to the facilities services on four hospital sites and other Intermediate Care Units that provide clinical services.

Working in the busy Estates and Facilities department you will be leading a number of varied work streams, including partnership working with the Catering Service Lead to deliver a patient meal service at ward level in line with the National Standard for Healthcare Food and Drink.

Appropriate scope of experience is essential, and a flexible can-do attitude to the broad remit of the role is required to succeed. Possessing strong leadership skills is essential to provide ongoing assurance to the Trust that compliance relating to services within their remit are maintained and have Business Continuity Plans.
