Kpler is looking for an experienced Analyst in Singapore to help support and further develop our industry-leading LNG products. Our constantly evolving offering spans a wide range of market data including cargo-tracking, inventories, and freight.

Your mission is to:

• Monitor the Kpler LNG platform and constantly ensure the highest level of accuracy and timeliness of our data. This will involve daily checking, structuring, and analysis of cargo-level data.
• Maintain and expand a comprehensive dataset relating to the LNG market.
• Collaborate with the product and technical teams to improve Kpler data quality and further develop our portfolio of client offerings, including LNG bunkering.
• Work closely with the global sales teams to demonstrate the value of Kpler’s solutions to the industry.
• Follow the main events occurring in the LNG market, track specific trends impacting global trade flows, and build a network of contacts in the industry.
• Regularly interact with prospective/existing clients to help them extract as much value from our products as possible.

• Have an undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, International Trade or Engineering related fields.
• Have at least 3 years of experience as an Analyst (or a similar role) covering the LNG market (experience working within the broader commodities industry will also be considered).

In this role, you will be a key member of the Customer Outcomes Japan team reporting to the VP of Customer Outcomes and working closely with regional sales managers/. This is a key role supporting the positioning and sales of ServiceNow Impact across Japan working closely with CO and ACV sales leaders. Initially focusing on supporting key sales cycles in the VLE/LE segment, as the GTM motion matures you will take a leading role in scaling and supporting the motion to become business-as-usual and to support ongoing product development of ServiceNow Impact.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for implementing and executing against the go-to-market strategy for ServiceNow Impact across Japan.
· Lead early deal cycles in the VLE/LE segments partnering closely with AEs and SAEs to craft the value proposition for customers and support sales cycles
· Manage and report the forecast for SN Impact across Japan working closely with the VP Customer Outcomes
· Be the SPOC for enablement and GTM activities associated with the introduction of SN Impact
· Build effective cross-functional working relationships with Customer Outcomes, ACV sales managers and AEs, Solution Consulting
· Align closely with the SN Impact global business unit to ensure 360 degree feedback is built into the product releases in the early stages
· Align closely with the Impact Delivery Leader in Japan to ensure seamless transition between sales and delivery
· Collaborate with the global SN Impact team and business operations teams on improvements to systems and processes to support SN Impact
· Coach sellers and assist leaders in adopting and driving our Value Based Selling Sales methodology
· Leverage field experience to provide input on Customer Outcomes long term GTM planning in areas such as – territory assignment, compensation model design, org design
· Work closely with the Offer development team on defining prescriptive Sales plays to accelerate the adoption of SN Impact
· Participate in Geo and Area Quarterly business reviews to provide insight, coaching, and updates on SN Impact priorities
· Create strong relationships with internal sales teams to create mindshare and GTM alignment with those teams

Key Responsibilities:

- Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Implement and oversee the measurement, monitoring, and management of credit and counterparty risks for selected product lines. Analyze risk reports, develop mitigation strategies, and actively participate in risk assessment and trading strategy meetings.

- Reporting and Compliance: Regularly review and report on exposure limits, ensure accurate risk data within company systems, and spearhead the resolution of reporting discrepancies. Advocate for and implement enhancements to risk assessment protocols and IT systems.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders across various levels, ensuring risk perspectives are integrated with commercial strategies and operational practices. Provide insightful risk assessments to aid in strategic decision making.

- Market Risk Oversight: Monitor market risk parameters including Value at Risk (VaR) limits, analyze potential risk events, and communicate findings and recommendations to key business units.

Qualifications and Attributes:

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. Advanced degrees or certifications such as CFA are advantageous.

- Experience Requirements: At least 10 years of relevant risk management experience in sectors such as investment banking, commodities trading, Experience in both credit/counterparty risk and market risk is highly regarded.

- Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, comprehensive knowledge of commodity markets and products, proficiency in risk management software, and the ability to simplify complex data for various audiences.

- Leadership and Influence: Ability to manage and influence senior management decisions. Must be proactive in identifying and resolving risks before they escalate.

The Trading and Market Strategies team is the central trading desk for Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) and executes cash equities, listed & OTC derivatives across global asset classes for portfolio managers throughout the Asset Management Division. This is a global desk with a presence in New York and Singapore. Specifically, this person will focus on our Fundamental Equity (“FE”), Quantitative Investment Strategies ( QIS ) and other portfolio managers in GSAM. Our platform provides institutional clients with investment opportunities around the world via a wide variety of financial instruments & strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute stocks, ETFs, futures, FX, NDF and OTC derivatives (options, interest rate swap & total return swap etc) on behalf of Portfolio Managers.
• Work closely with the investment teams to develop and optimize implementation strategies.
• Provide market color to constituents around the division.
• Conduct and pre and post trade cost analysis for the team to ensure a detailed understanding of trading activity.
• Develop and maintain counterparty relationships.
• Lead or assist in various engineering or research initiatives for Portfolio Managers and the trading desk.
• Execute trades using a combination of high-touch & low touch methods.
