- Assists senior specialist and supervisor in conducting finance and budget analyst functions and coordinates the preparation of the operating budget.
- Assists in the financial budgets and formulation of budget estimates.
- Assists higher-graded staff in solving the day-to-day problems encountered with budget projects.
- Utilizes computers and software including Corps-developed software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Assists in the selection and compilation of specific data in preparation, assimilation, and submission of annual budgets.
- Notifies supervisor or higher graded analyst of suspected financial and budget problems and makes recommendations.
- Assists in execution of approved operating finance and budgets, checks and monitor the rate and number.
- Assists Program Division staff identify and document best practices.
- Develops and coordinates a variety of basic/routine reports, staff actions, correspondence and other related actions.
- Researches legal, financial, and regulatory material to obtain factual information and/or interpretation for use by the supervisor or other Program Division staff members.
- Builds charts/presentations based on analytical results from other Program Division staff members.
