The Strategic Communications & Media Relations Executive will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the organization's image and reputation. This role will involve building relationships with media outlets, managing press releases, and coordinating PR campaigns to effectively communicate the company's message to external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and public speaking skills, as well as experience in crisis management and social media management.

Work Location: Alexandra Road

Working Hours: 8.30am to 6pm (Mon to Thu) and 8.30am to 5.30pm (Fri)

Contract Duration: 1 year

Salary up to $4,500

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic communications plans to support the organization's goals and objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets and journalists
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communications channels
• Monitor media coverage and provide regular updates to senior leadership

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in strategic communications and media relations
• Experience in media relations, ie. working with journalists/reporters, developing media materials such as media releases/announcements, organising media conferences, etc
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
