Key Attributes/Responsibilities

• Help with Network Segmentation
• Designing and managing interfaces to third-party systems within the DeltaV framework like HCI,HMI while keeping in mind the user requirements on site.
• Managing internal stakeholders and coordinating with diverse system vendors.
• Reviewing vendor functional specifications and design specifications to ensure alignment with client global and local standards.
• Collaborating with multiple teams to design system architecture, network architecture, and cable schedules.
• Participating in design meetings at various vendor locations.
• Witnessing FATs and interface tests at various vendor locations.
• Providing close support to qualification teams for test generation and execution efforts in IQ, OQ, and PQ. Supporting FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities.

The Design Engineer is responsible for assisting the Senior Design Engineer on structural analysis and design compliance for the project.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Conduct structure analysis

Main Responsibilities:

Your new role
It is as a Senior Electrical Engineer who can work on the engineering design, management of projects and teams, across multiple multi-million pound projects. You will support the directors by acting as the design lead on projects, promoting design excellence, and you will mentor and develop the skills of the engineers in their team. You will be involved in the conceptual and detailed design of projects within the Heritage, Commercial and Life Sciences sectors.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong technical core competence and background in project delivery. In addition, you will have a broad understanding of the principles of building services and other related building design disciplines and a desire to mentor and lead a team of Engineers.
You must also be-

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering/Building Services.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in electrical engineering design within the building services industry.
• Experience leading junior engineers.
• Comfortable in a client-facing role and willing to contribute to business development activities.
• Experience leading teams on large-scale and often complex projects.
• Experience in the delivery of all phases of a project from inception to completion, but specifically, design and quality control focused and dealing directly with the customer and project teams.
• Experience and awareness of major digital engineering tools, such as CAD/Revit, and Amtech. You will also have experience of delivering projects in a BIM environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ideally Chartered or willing to work towards.
