What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining Vormetric DSM/CipherTrust Manager and Voltage SecureData appliances
• Administering Vormetric DSMs, CipherTrust Manager, and Voltage SecureData appliances
• Assisting server administrators in installing and uninstalling Vormetric/CipherTrust agents on Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms
• Registering VTE and LDT agents, creating policies, keys, and guard points
• Troubleshooting Vormetric and Voltage encryption-related incidents
• Monitoring and responding to alerts related to Vormetric/CipherTrust appliances
• Responding to information security-related questions using established tools and procedures
• Collaborating with the user community to understand security needs and implement procedures to meet them
• Maintaining security systems and administering security policies for access control
• Ensuring servers meet security compliance and industry standards
• Preparing for internal and external security audits
• Communicating configuration changes and major upgrades through change control
• Coordinating with patching teams and assisting with compatible Vormetric agent versions
• Participating in daily standup meetings to discuss ongoing tasks
• Working with vendors to report and troubleshoot technical issues
• Ensuring documentation on the wiki is up-to-date

What you'll bring:

• Knowledge of security technologies, encryption, data protection, privilege access, etc.
• Thorough understanding of information security policies, controls, and processes
• Experience with Transparent Data Encryption, specifically Vormetric
• Administration experience with Vormetric DSMs and CipherTrust Manager appliances
• Knowledge and understanding of Voltage SecureData and application-level encryption
• Experience in configuring VTE and LDT agents, policies, keys, and guard points
• Experience installing and uninstalling Vormetric agents on Windows, Linux, and AIX platforms
• Experience encrypting and decrypting data using VTE and LDT keys
• Experience troubleshooting Vormetric encryption-related issues
• Knowledge and understanding of relational database systems such as Oracle and MySQL
• Experience with public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
• Thorough understanding of regulatory standards like GDPR and PCI DSS
• Proficiency in MS Office software applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly both written and verbally

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a similar field from a four-year college or university. Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security. CISSP certification is a plus.
