Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
· Develop and execute social media strategies to increase engagement, followership, and brand awareness.
· Create compelling content (including graphics, videos, and written posts) tailored to different platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
· Monitor UA social media channels, including Facebook Community Group and Discord, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly, and maintain a positive online presence.
· Analyze social media metrics and performance data to optimize content and strategies for maximum impact.
Website Management:
· Manage and update the organization's website with fresh and engaging content, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with branding guidelines.
· Work closely with a team of web development volunteers to implement necessary changes, updates, and improvements.
· Utilize SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and drive organic traffic.
· Monitor website analytics to track performance and user behavior, making data-driven decisions to improve user experience and achieve marketing goals.
Email Marketing:
· Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns aimed at cultivating donor relationships, promoting events, and driving fundraising initiatives.
· Segment email lists and personalize content to target specific audiences effectively.
· Monitor email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and optimize campaigns for better engagement and conversion.
Paid Digital Advertising:
· Manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other relevant channels.
· Develop and implement strategies for Google Search Ads to increase visibility, drive traffic, and maximize conversions.
· Monitor advertising budgets, performance metrics, and ROI, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize campaign effectiveness.
· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in paid advertising, incorporating new opportunities and techniques into campaigns.
Collaboration and Reporting:
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fundraising, communications, and program management to ensure alignment of digital marketing efforts with organizational goals.
· Provide regular reports and analysis of digital marketing performance, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.
· Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing, and incorporate them into strategies as appropriate.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
· Proven experience in digital marketing, with specific experience in managing Google Search Ads campaigns and Meta Business Platform
· Technical proficiency in social media management tools, website CMS platforms (such as WordPress, Wix), email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp) and GA4.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and analytics.
· Familiar with content editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative and video editing software such as Capcut
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and convey messages effectively.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Experience of managing staff and volunteers preferred but not essential.
