Responsibilities

• Preparation, checking and submission of drawings, catalogues and calculations for the assigned project.
• Assist Project Manager/Sr. Engineer for preparation of Vender approval submission
• Prepare and update project schedules
• Work out bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
• Attend progress/ technical meetings.
• Execution of project in accordance with general specifications, particular specifications, technical specifications and drawings, etc.
• Effective communication between engineering, technical, construction, and project control groups.
• Co-ordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of works.
• Co-ordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and own teams for implementation of the projects and ensuring it is being built correctly.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Monitoring and carrying out quality check on progressive completed work.
• Develop method of statements and testing procedures for the works.
• Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
• Write reports and documentations.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3 years of working experiences in electrical installation in industrial plants
• Technical skills and knowledge of HT, LT Switchboards, Transformers, Generators, Motor Starters, Testing and Commissioning
• Familiar with relevant Singapore standards and international standards.
• Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous with an eye for detail

Position
The purpose of hiring HD Mechanic / General Motor Mechanic includes but not limited to the identification of defective or worn mechanical components or equipment, repair/replacement of worn/faulty components or equipment, and modifications in all aspects of mobile maintenance mining equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Complete plant and equipment pre-starts
• At commencement of shift attend daily pre-start meetings
• Perform workshop inspections
• Maintain, overhaul and repair machinery and equipment
• Complete tasks safely and in a timely manner as per instruction
• Complete necessary job documentation
• Complete daily Time and Expense sheets and record all consumables
• Complete all relevant safety documentation
• Report and assist in the analysis of incidents or potential hazards
• Perform all jobs as per “Safe Operational Procedures”
• Maintain equipment and tag if faulty
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Wash and clean LV, trucks and equipment as required for Field Service selection

Qualifications – Licences, Certificates & Competencies
• Trade Certification – Heavy Mobile Plant, Diesel or similar
• Minimum HR Driver’s Licence
• EWP Certificate
• LF Certificate
• Working at heights ticket – desirable completed in the last 2 years
• Confine Space ticket - desirable completed in the last 2 years

Knowledge, Experience & Skills
• Prior experience with mobile plant maintenance
• Prior experience with cut mining desirable
• Thorough understanding of earthmoving equipment

Responsibilities

• Using Solidworks to produce mechanical design, simulation, and various engineering solutions
• Design machine automation, and produce the necessary drawing with detailed measurements and specifications for fabrication
• Produce, maintain and update 3D/ 2D renderings, and bill of material (BOM) list, with detailed descriptions
• Review and evaluate machine designs/ design solutions vis-à-vis requirement/ specs
• Produce detailed parts drawing & BOM for fabrication
• Work alongside fabricator and provide support in production/ design modifications
• Perform/ conduct/ lead engineering meetings/ presentations/ discussions
• Select suitable components/ parts for various designs, based on sound engineering understanding and knowledge
• Actively coordinate between customer, vendors and production to deliver product(s) as per customer’s requirements and on schedule
• Liaise with vendor for technical information and specification
• Produce operational/ instructions manual for end users
