Job Summary:

Group Audit helps the Board and Executive Management meet the strategic and operational objectives of the Group. We conduct independent checks to ensure that the Group’s risk and control processes are adequate and effective. All our team members are highly sought-after professionals who work as trusted advisors to our clients, in all matters related to a company’s internal controls.

In CBG audit function, we look after a portfolio made up of Consumer Banking Group (including Wealth Management), Legal & Compliance function (including Financial Crime & Security Services) and Corporate Functions (such as CRESA & GSMC etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits of BU/SUs - risk, product and processes regionally.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of processes and controls and develop appropriate tests to be conducted and ascertain the level of testing of controls required.
• Escalate issues appropriately and timely.
• Ensure concise and clear audit findings and reports are presented on a timely basis.

Requirements:

• Degree qualification, with at least 4-6 years’ relevant experience in the internal audit of financial services industry, preferably with relevant experience in consumer banking, wealth management and/or legal & compliance functions
• Self-motivated and demonstrates the initiative & ability to work independently and effectively with multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), i.e., able to articulate key messages effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and team mates.
• Proven robust analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Accounting or internal audit qualifications (Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)) are preferred. Other AML professional qualifications would be desirable.

Job Description:

AssetMark Financial has a dynamic in-house marketing and creative agency with creative talent in all media. Marketing supports a diversity of B2B and B2C media products, focused on our advisors as well as marketing AssetMark through design, multimedia and video.

Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to create branded digital media and video that
  engage our advisor audiences.
• Produce, design and edit video, graphics and small animations
• In studio/ on location video assignments.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Familiarity with Canon DSLR/EOS camera and lens family a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Premiere and Adobe’s Creative Suite required.
• Basic video editing experience.
• Film and design background a plus.
• Creative, self-motivated, and thoughtful. Able to work independently, as well as collaboratively with team members and clients.

Internship Details

Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour

Internship Duration: June 10 – August 16
