Design
- To be responsible for the complete Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering of the project, from budget estimation through design phases
- To ensure that all Electrical and Instrumentation designs are appropriate to the process, the utilities and the production building, including:
• Power distribution and availability;
• Application of local electric standards, consistent with site standards and preferred suppliers
• Energy efficiency features, reducing maintenance cost
• Area classification for flammable hazard area, risk analysis
• Consistent interfacing with automation
- To ensure that Electrical Engineering issues are addressed through all phases of the project life cycle
- To ensure that Instrumentation Engineering is adequate with Chemical processes requests and its environment
- To ensure all data, schematics, certificates, documentation are available and filled in a formal structure. Shall work closely with the document controller
Construction (only after the first 5 months)
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth and safe execution of work
- Shall serve as the technical expert on the client side and ensure that installations are done in a safe manner and follow Company as well Singapore standards as well as any applicable international standards
- First line of review of documentation submission from contractors and coordinate for stakeholder’s review.
- Track and follow up with contractors on the testing & commissioning (including Qualification IQ/OQ), startup, training, documentation, punch lists tracking and defects follow up.
- Assist End Users and Engineering team on taking over the revamped area and ensure proper handover (including documentation) from contractor to Company team.
CONTRACT PERIOD
- Valid for 5 months contract (target period 8th May 2024 to 8th Oct 2024)
- Working on a part-time basis with a max of 24hrs/week
- Option to extend is important. The first 5 months would focus on design with the execution to follow. If extended the period would likely be for an additional 12 months
QUALIFICATION (general and specific knowledge, languages)
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial IT, from recognized organization or institution is a plus
- Expert in application of IEC-Ex standards (Flammable products handling)
- Proficient in written English, strong communication skills. Good commend of oral English is a must
- Capabilities for motivation, guidance, client orientation & team player
- Ability to work under pressure and capacity to handle multiple task at same time and rapidly solve problems
EXPERIENCE (nature, duration)
- More than 5 years related working experience in chemical or pharma industries,
- Demonstrated experience of minimum 3 years in similar project management, preferably in a multi-national company
- Knowledge of GMP standards,
- Computer skills, Word, Excel, CADs, etc.
