The role
As a Media Developer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. We are leading the way with the development of media, graphics, and digital learning to support trainers and students.
Working closely with key stakeholders including the Digital Learning Advisors, Course Designers and Subject Matter Experts you will be assisting in the development of modern and effective approaches for the learning environment.
Day to day, you'll undertake a variety of exciting tasks including photography, video capture creating learning assets using graphic design, animation and 3D modelling. This role offers a truly diverse work load.
- Design, develop, update and implement new media materials in collaboration with relevant stake holders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Liaise with the clients to fully understand and interpret the brief, and develop appropriate materials
- Provide advice, guidance and expertise on the use of applicable media in the design and creation of a variety of media content
- Push creativity, challenge established thinking and consider new and innovative ways of approaching the desired outputs
- Use Photographic and Video equipment to capture source materials
This role is full time, 37 hours, 4.5 days a week, with a hybrid working arrangement (typically 3 days in a week). Based at our Lyneham training site.
Essential experience of the Media Developer
- Strong portfolio of successful creative projects, across different media types
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite CC
- Proficient in 3D modelling/multimedia creation - Autodesk 3DS Max, Maya
- Game engine experience
- Experience of rapid development E-Learning tools (e.g. Articulate, Storyline, Captivate)
- An understanding of E-Learning development
- Photography and Videography experience
Qualifications for the Media Developer
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification or significant, demonstrable, relevant experience working in the digital creative industry
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
