Description
Lead, Develop and Managing the Customer Support & Innovation teams in line with Corbion’s Strategic choices. The Technical Food Application teams will closely work together with both the sales team & business development team to support existing business as well as to develop new customers and innovations for the APAC market.
Responsibilities
Assure Technical Customer Support & Innovations to realize Corbion APAC’s short term & long term targets & ambition. Manage the Food Application Teams & Regional Food Application Centres in APAC
- Lead, Develop & Manage Application team.
- Assure that strategic competencies (e.g. Food Microbiology, Preservation, Food Chemistry, Food Analytics)
- Assure on target Application knowledge for the strategic and important markets (e.g. Meat, Beverages, Confectionery, Bakery, Prepared Foods, Sauces Dressings & Condiments).
- Assure that all application trials are registered, reported, scientifically sound and used by the Sales & Business Development Teams to generate new & maintain existing customers;
- Manage the food lab, the raw materials/chemicals, the equipment & procedures;
- Assure a Safe & Hygienic environment in the Food Application Laboratory/Kitchen;
- Develop and Maintain external & Corbion network with experts
Assure technical support for the Sales team, Distributors & Customers:
- Generate data & information to support the value and efficacy of Corbion ingredients;
- Train & Support the Corbion Sales team, Corbion Distributors as well as to assure leadership in Key-Customer projects;
- Represent Corbion and promote Corbion’s capabilities & knowledge at customers & international Conferences & Seminars
Deliver new innovations to the APAC food market through Collaborating with Business Development, R&D and Market insights:
- Generate new ideas to develop new products & propositions for the APAC market;
- Lead & Participate in Corbion and/or Customer innovation projects in line with Corbion’s strategic direction & capabilities;
Requirements
- Position is based in Singapore.
- Master, PhD degree or equivalent in Food Science, Food Microbiology and/or Food Technology.
- Have more than 15 years relevant experience in the Asian food and food Ingredients Industry in managing an Application food lab and a team of food application scientists
- Vast experience in Meat, Confectionery & Beverages as well as in Food Microbiology and/or Food chemistry/analysis is advantageous.
- Have shown results to develop Application Scientists/Technicians to independently support both Sales & Customers.
- Willingness to participate with the team in the application lab for 20-30% of the time.
- A result oriented individual who is technically skilled with a creative mindset to overcome application challenges
- Strong technical writing and reporting is critical for this position
- A commercial drive combined with creativity, passion, and performance orientation
- A sensitive & flexible team-player
- Self-confident and self-managing, pro-active and taking initiative
- A good communicator who understands and is experienced in presenting to both technical and commercial audiences
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel up to 15-25%, mostly in the APAC region

The Customer Service Platform (CSP) is a team that integrate the product technology resources of the company's internal customer service system. Our mission is to provide users with efficient self-service solutions and provide agents with convenient tools so as to improve customer service experience.
Responsibilities
1. Lead a fullstack team of engineers and collaborate with PM teams to develop large-scale customer service platforms end to end that powers TikTok app and beyond
2. Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities in customer service domain.
3. Define long-term technical roadmaps and contribute to technical decisions on the team.
4. Responsible for building and optimising scalability, reliability and responsiveness of applications, and to deliver compelling end user experience.
5. Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high quality work in rapid product development.

Qualifications:
1. B. Sc or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields from accredited and reputable institutions;2+ years of experience managing or tech-leading a software engineering team;

3. Experience in developing large-scale consumer-facing applications end to end, with demonstrable expertise in deep optimisation of end user experience, stability & scalability, code modularity and rendering latency;Experience in leading challenging system design or technical initiatives
4. Strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS frontend engineering experience and strong familiarity with key concepts including asynchronous programming, closures and types, layouts, specificity, cross browser compatibility and accessibility;
5. Deep understanding of common open source distributed middleware and components such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and MQ;
6. Deep understanding of the underlying design philosophy and implementation of common web frameworks, including React/Vue/Angular.
7. Good understanding of multi-tier application architecture and protocols, familiarity with product and software development lifecycle process;

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for building and improving overseas e-commerce business customer service data evaluation and monitoring system, including service experience topics and service efficiency topics.
2. Conduct in-depth analyses with the objective of enhancing service experience and optimizing service efficiency to contribute to our business objectives. For instance, we can generate recommendations for improving service experience, considering factors like product features, solutions (compensation plans, etc.), and service processes. We can also optimize overall service efficiency by analyzing strategies such as agent empowerment tools, agent scheduling, and appointment callbacks. We aim to refine plan settings.
3. Identify service anomalies based on user interaction patterns to minimize the occurrence of public sentiment issues. Identify critical signals to aid in the detection of bugs and user experience related issues.
4. Clearly assess the impact of our services on business value. Explore the effects on repurchase and customer retention from both user and issue-related perspectives. Define service priorities and enhance service ROI.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree with a background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields;
2. 5 years experience of Data Analytics.
3. Expert experience pulling large and complex data using SQL and writing data pipelines.
4. Experience with a data visualization tool (e.g. Tableau)
Preferred Qualifications

3. Experience with any major JavaScript framework such as ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, or equivalent is necessary.
4. Experience with any major frontend technologies like Micro Frontends, BFF, Node build systems, asynchronous APIs or equivalent.
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
