Reporting to the Finance Manager for Local Productions, this role sits within the Local Production Finance Team based in North Sydney.

There is also a Senior Management Accountant and a Production Accountant based in Sydney as well as a Production Finance Manager based in Melbourne. The Local Production Finance Team is part of the TV Finance Team, which has around 25 team members.

Day to day you will:

• Conduct monthly reviews of departmental expenses and analysis of variances to budget and forecast, including Headcount analysis
• Manage weekly & monthly cashflow reporting and co-ordination with Accounts Payable
• Prepare annual departmental budgets including salary costs, production costs and internal recharges
• Manage expenditure approvals, including petty cash and debit card reconciliations and journals
• Support with program budgets, reporting, talent payments, analysis and financial support to Network Executives
