The postholder will line manage the two Executive PAs for the CMO and CNO, and will conduct sickness return to work meetings for the CMOs direct reports. Ensure the CMOs project managers deliver an effective medical appraisal system, and that appropriate monitoring is undertaken to provide assurance that internal and external performance targets are met and the revalidation process delivers the requirements of the national standards and performance targets. The postholder will have autonomy to exercise their judgement within their delegated responsibilities, and will be required to have periods of concentration when writing papers/ reports/ analysing data, but interruption is possible, so therefore they need to be able to rapidly prioritise time and work needed.

What the day will look like

Responsibility and oversight over all Aon’s Construction and Infrastructure (C&I) business across the Asian region. The focus will be on risk specialist advisory services enabling client retention and future revenue growth. Working with CLC Marcoms team and the appointed Event Organiser, the Conference and Event manager will support the organising of the CLC in-person and virtual events; especially the biennial WCS, and, in alternate years, the overseas MF. The role involves researching and proposing suitable themes, topics, formats, speakers and writers. Staff will work with global urban leaders and experts, as well professional editors, designers, video producers and event organisers to deliver world class, high impact content. The Conference and Event manager will support the WCS organising committee to deliver an engaging experience through quality content and programming.

Requirements:

1. Relevant leadership experience in conference and event organisation, with an interest in urban issues.

2. Prior experience in a related sector such as architecture, planning, smart cities, urban governance, geography, economics and real estate would be advantageous.

3. Good communication skills and ability to engage with senior officials or business leaders.

4. Resourceful, self-motivated, team player and keen learner. Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Job Responsibilities :

• Report to the Executive Director of the Company
• Overall responsible for the successful conclusion of construction projects
• Oversee Project Managers and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget
• Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to Project Managers to implement the decisions
• Meeting with Clients, Stakeholders and Project Managers to report on project progress

Job Requirements :

• Master / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• 15+ years previous work experience as a Senior Project Manager
• Possess Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or equivalent and other basic construction certificates, etc., preferred.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Strong understanding of the budget process
• Strong presentation and negotiating skills, and experience supervising, training and mentoring staff
• Leadership and business management skills

Job Requirements:

· Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering

· Min. 15 years experience in Construction.

· Have requirements of LTA project experience
