The Security Systems Administrator works directly under the supervision of the Director of Security and Support Services and is responsible for assisting with specialized assignments in different functional areas such as networking of low voltage systems, user services, operations, technical services, or systems applications. Coordinate and supervise low-voltage contractors used for the installation and maintenance of these systems. Assists with investigations and data collection as needed. Assists with the collection and decimation of information/data as well as training for our Emergency Management, Workplace Violence Prevention, and Security programs. This position is subject to on-call response for emergencies that occur after normal business hours.

Our “Giving Real Opportunities of Work Programme (GROW)” provides employment opportunities to individuals with lived experience of multiple disadvantage (including but not limited to; homelessness, the criminal justice system, mental ill-health and substance misuse) or those with limited experience of work.

You will work in a homeless service and be supported by a Front-Line Service Team throughout the programme.

This is an entry level role which will give you specialised support, training and practical work experience with a structured training programme. The aim is to be successful in developing the required level of skill to progress and secure future employment opportunities.

You will work collaboratively as part of a committed team delivering an outstanding service. You will put customers first and empower them to achieve their goals and aspirations. You will undertake a range of tasks that contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the day-to-day service.

Who we are looking for

The Controls Design & Development team within First Line Risk And Controls is building its team to enhance the cybersecurity and technology risk and control framework, develop and implement risk and control assessments, and collaborate with Controls Testing & Assurance in order to evaluate and improve controls and reduce cyber risk for new technology and processes. The Assistant Vice President will be engaged in efforts to enhance controls, develop control tests, and measure and mitigate cyber and technology risk and will report to the Vice President of Control Design & Development.

What you will be responsible for

As the Controls Design & Development Assistant Vice President:

• Maintain and improve methodology around monitoring and measuring threat risks that aligns to standard industry frameworks

• Ensure that the risk and control assurance activities are delivered accurately and timely, in line with the State Street framework and methodology.

• Assist in regular reporting on the status and outcomes of controls assessment activities.

• Build strong relationships with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to drive risk excellence.

• Discuss and validate potential control gaps, control design and operating effectiveness with control owners.

• Work in conjunction across First Line Risk as well as business partners and external parties as needed to resolve issues and ensure accuracy of accountabilities, and adherence to all policies/regulations/guidelines.

• Maintain adequate records and evidence of controls design & development activities completed

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent experience with over all 12 – 15 Years of experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience working in Information Security or general IT areas related to risk management, controls assurance, compliance programs, cybersecurity and technology regulations, industry standards, and internal policies frameworks

• At least 5 years of prior experience in risk management/audit team with knowledge of Archer control inventory or other similar systems preferred

• Experience in assessing and/or designing Cloud controls

• Preference for working towards a professional certification: Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Risk & Information Systems Controls (CRISC), etc.

Duties:

- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Bid Manager throughout the bid process.
- Collaborate with the Bid Manager and relevant stakeholders to compile all necessary documentation required for tender submissions.
- Format, proofread, and edit tender documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with tender requirements.
- Organize and facilitate internal reviews of tender submissions, ensuring all feedback is incorporated accurately and efficiently.
- Establish and maintain a systematic filing system for all bid-related documents, ensuring easy access and retrieval.
