Mission Thread EngineerKBR is seeking a highly motivated Mission Thread Engineer with SIGINT and IC experience to support a major SIGINT acquisition system program office. The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering or other technical discipline and will have intimate knowledge of SIGINT missions, tasking CONOPs, and processing of data. The successful candidate will conduct outreach to mission partners and the IC community to understand needs which are then translated into concept of operations and day in the life scenarios.
Key duties include:
Work with the community to understand intelligence needs that are being satisfied by a material solution
Work with development team to understand material solution and translate this into CONOPs as well as work with mission partners on various tasking strategies and data delivery options

This internship will utilize many engineering skillets including RF skills. coding, testing. validating. device integration. As Digital Signals Processing (DSP) engineers KBR uses software defined radios and GNURadio to create and implement DSP algorithms to support our customers.
During this accelerated summer internship, you will be working closely with experienced DSP engineers and assisting experienced Cyber engineers in designing, testing, and automating DSP algorithms and concepts for our projects. You can expect to grow in understanding of the various phases including receiver integration, testing development, programming automation, results analysis, and documentation. These phases will utilize many engineering skillsets introduced during undergrad including RF theory, programming, testing, validating, device integration, planning, and modeling and simulation.. The KBR NSS intern will be working closely with our experienced DSP engineers in designing, testing, and automating the equipment for this lab.
