Role and Responsibilities:
1) Determining the confidentiality, integrity, quality, technical, health and safety aspect of the company.
2) To assist the Lab Manager / Senior Chemist in all aspects of work in the respective section.
3) To carry out testing on all aspects of work and calibration of equipment in the respective section when necessary.
4) Assist in or perform reagent preparation and standardization of standard solutions.
5) Perform result entry, QC checks, inventory maintenance, basic equipment calibration & maintenance.
6) Maintain of all equipment and testing records in the respective section.
7) General laboratory work like housekeeping, sample receipt and registration, preparation of sample bottles and helping to maintain cleanliness of laboratory, equipment and apparatus.
8) To highlight abnormalities and discrepancies in the testing, calibration and results.
9) Perform the duties of a Quality Officer for the section.
10) When necessary, updating of test methods and working instructions under supervision.
Requirements:
• Minimum Advanced Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Science, or equivalent with at least 3 year of relevant laboratory experience or fresh graduate with good academic results
• Interacts with operational personnel, scientific personnel, and department management.
