Here, you will formulate creative solutions for our customers, juggle numerous items in making them simple, own and drive initiatives, and collaborate with super fun and hard-working group of people who are utterly passionate about their mission.
The Core Job:
- Configuration, Administration, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of enterprise servers for both Windows and Linux.
- Strong Windows and Linux system administration skills a must.
- Experience with VMWare vCenter administration
- Experience with IT Operations Platforms such as ManageEngine a strong plus
- Experience with any Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure/Huawei/Alibaba) a strong plus
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving server hardware, OS, and network issues working closely with vendors where required.
- Monitoring server and network performance metrics to ensure SLAs are kept
- Forecasting server/network usage taking into account user/application projections.
- Closing any audit issues with respect to server and network
- Experience in Backup Administration utilizing Veam or Cohesity is a strong plus
- Experience in High Availability design from a server and network perspective
- Experience in DRC exercises from server/network and backup perspective
- Ensure that security best practices are followed
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology or extensive field experience in lieu.
- Extensive hands on experience in Windows/Linux servers administration in an enterprise environment
- Hands-on experience in the following:
- Windows/Linux administration
- Managengine
- Microsoft AD Administration an advantage
- Veam or Cohesity Backup experience an advantage.
- Experience utilizing and configuring Solarwinds, Dynatrace an advantage
- Experience with security EDR tools, DLP an advantage
- Strong understanding of networking
- Secondary ability to perform network administration an advantage. Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, VPN, LAN, and WAN links.
- Huawei Switches/Routers
- Aruba switches/wifi
- Palo Alto, Fortigate, Sonicwall firewalls
- F5 load balancers
- Working with local WAN link providers like TMB and Time.
Extra Bonus Points:
- Ability to create accurate documentation including network/server diagrams and design/planning documents.
- Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
- Good communication skills written and spoken
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to visualize and plan troubleshooting steps.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other parties toward a common goal
