Job Description
As a Market Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving airasia MOVE's market presence and fostering strong relationships with key destinations. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and expanding relationships with hotel partners, analyzing data to improve commercial performance, and representing the company at events. This role offers a dynamic and exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in the hotel or travel industry and a passion for people development.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster new relationships in key destinations to increase the company's footprint.
Build, nurture, and grow commercial relationships with both new and existing hotel partners.
Implement strategic plans, promotional activities, and continuous engagement with hotel partners to enhance cooperation.
Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities for increased productivity, rate competitiveness, and availability for AirAsia.
Track, monitor, and assess team performance, ensuring that KPIs and targets are met using appropriate tools and resources.
Ensure that hotel partners are well-versed in the AirAsia platform, system, and business model.
Share up-to-date market insights, data, reports, and relevant information from both internal and external sources to support informed decision-making.
Represent airasia MOVE at relevant events that promote the company's brand and products.
Collaborate with other Line Of Business (LOB) teams to introduce their products to hotel partners as needed.
Effectively coordinate, communicate, and align strategic planning and objectives from senior management to the team.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the hotel or travel-related industry (experience in OTA is an added advantage).
Good understanding of data and able to interpret them into meaningful insights.
Ability to develop & execute business strategies to drive growth.
Strong project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong focus on achieving set goals with high agility.
Solid knowledge in airline/hotel/package revenue management.
Willingness to travel or work outside of the office as required by business need.
