Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner. Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions. Purpose of the job

Responsible for the technical realization of projects, during the disassembly, assembly, inspection and repair, installation and commissioning of equipment, installations and related components.

Characterization

• Performs assignments/projects on the basis of requests from the project manager and project planning.
• Technical lead of the project team consisting of mechanics, (field) service engineers and subcontracted staff.

1. Authorizations

• Independently performing inspections, measurements, repairs, disassembly and assembly of installations, equipment and related components.

2. Execution

• (dis)Assembly, inspection and repair of installations, equipment, related components and connected installations onsite, according to work instructions. Sets priorities on location and specific approach to the work; on site troubleshooting.

What you'll be doing;

• Travel daily to client sites to carry out planned and reactive maintenance of combined heat and power units.
• Safely operating and maintaining all site CHP plants ensuring full service delivery in line with contracted KPIs.
• Using Computer based diagnostic tools to fault find on a range of plant equipment.
• Interaction with our clients on a daily basis to meet their needs and deliver excellent customer service.
• The ability to work alone as well as part of a team.

What we're looking for;

• Qualified to minimum O.N.C or equivalent in an engineering subject and have appropriate experience in mechanical/electrical engineering
• Knowledge and experience of CHP plants and systems, heat exchanging equipment and Power generation.
• Have a sound understanding of electrical fault finding and rectification
• Gas Safe qualification would be an advantage but not compulsory as training will be provided for the right candidate.
• In depth knowledge of CHP control systems and PLC's and to be fully conversant with Fuel mapping procedures on MTU, MAN and 2g units
• Full UK driving licence.
• Have qualifications and or experience on engine maintenance and the ability and desire to be trained by an engine manufacturer if required
• Have sound knowledge in engineering practices and be conversant with the operation of a CHP plant
• Undertake weekend roster duties as required by management

Objectives of the position:

This role is for the Customer Quality Support for Company’s product distribution where Customer’s feedback & Product Quality requirements / issues are handled. The person will be responsible to handle Customers requirements such as complaints, test data & other technical information as requested. Customer complaints handling will also include the necessary communication with all the stake holders (Customer, Supplier, CS, PP, SVM, LOG). 1. Manage Customer complaint processes such as acknowledgement of the complaint, updating into SAP, keeping track of the complaint, closure of the complaint & summarizing for monthly reporting. 2. Track supplier quality by means of in-coming inspection when required or arise from Customer complaints. Update results in SAP system and release inspected lots according to the usage decision defined. To generate supplier CAR and track for corrective action by liaising with the supplier.

3. Familiar with and comply to international cable testing standards and procedures. Contribute to achieving company & department KPIs through due diligence, duty of care & personal accountability for Quality assurance in all tasks.

6. Operate Laboratory test equipment when required

7. Assist Customer’s Technical enquiries e.g Product Test Report, RoHS, REACH, CE

Skills & Qualification:

▪ Min. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or equivalent

▪ Min. 2 years’ experience in electrical / electronic product testing and qualification. Fresh can also apply

▪ Knowledge in ISO 9001 : 2015 QMS standard.

▪ Must be able to operate lab equipment (calliper, visual scope, resistance checker, High voltage tester).

Requirement:

• Technical Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of computer systems, networks, software applications, and troubleshooting methodologies. Firm understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Layer, network security, Internet, DNS, network routing and switching and common protocols.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You should be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users. Active listening skills are important for gathering information and understanding customer issues.

This position provides the desktop support for the first contact point for customers, you will be responsible to provide prompt assistance to customers, addressing a range of IT topics and issues. Besides, you will ensure that software, licenses and operations comply with standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide First Call Resolution (FCR) technical support via phone and email. Ensure calls are answered and emails are responded in a timely manner.
• Perform first level troubleshooting on all reported incidents and escalate incidents to 2nd level resolver groups as per work instructions.
• Furnish and submit timely updates to customers on the status of outstanding issues within targeted Service Level
• Maintain ownership of cases and follow-up on reported issues until closure and gather accurate and complete relevant information is recorded.
• Manage customer expectations and notify Team Lead in the event of unusual surge in calls of a specific nature.
• Handle initial classification/ prioritization of the incidents. Track the progress of resolution and provide regular updates for follow-up actions and incident status.
