Position Purpose
The Education Excellence Manager is primarily responsible to execute CME Grant and Sponsorship for AO regional and key-markets education events across the APAC region. Activities included:
This role will be leading the relationship and communications between AO Foundation and DePuy Synthes DRI & HCC in key-markets across the APAC region. This role will support markets DRI to execute compliant and sustainable AO education by driving high quality, standardized, and timely actions guided by the AO-DPS Education Standard Operating Procedure. This position will be the DePuy Synthes regional operations liaison with the AO regional office (AO regional manager and finance), handling market escalation and overseeing Concerto operations tasks for all AO educational events in the APAC region.
The Education Excellence Manager is the Regional DRI for AO Regional Flagship education event. This role will be working closely with AO event owner, faculties, and broader DPS stakeholders to align on the event planning including practical exercises. Drive education sustainability, provide fair market value, and align on CME grant amount. Coordinating regional & market sponsorship. Lead internal communication (update and recap).
This position will drive AO & DePuy Synthes innovative digital education initiative (explore, pilot, and evaluate); re-imagine hands-on customer experience with next generation simulation models and telementoring technologies.
This role will work in collaboration internally with the regional and local EdTech, Marketing, Compliance, Finance, and Legal Team on precise and timely grant and sponsorship payments; and externally with AO Foundation faculties and staff and digital technology education partners.
Key Responsibility Areas
Execute AO CME Grant and Sponsorship for Regional Events, Davos, China, Japan, South Korea, India, and Taiwan in close collaboration with AO event owner and Local DRI. Regional and Local HCC approval. Work with Legal on template and contracting. Payment schedule according to the AO SOP and Compliance. Ensure appropriate & complete documentation for Finance Tracking, Reporting, & Audit readiness; record keeping in SharePoint. Lead regular conversations between AO event owner and local DRI on education sustainability. Maintain the highest standards of quality, compliance and personal accountability.
