The Heat Resilience & Performance Centre (HRPC) is a first-of-its-kind research centre, established at the National University of Singapore (NUS), to spearhead and conduct research and development to address the challenges arising from climate change & extreme heat.

-Control, monitor, and maintain the equipment and treatment processes in on-site pilot plant
-Analysis & update experimental results
-Assist in optimization of operation treatment as well as identifying the area for improvement.

-Work with the team to help generate relevant SOPs (standard operating procedures)
-Ensure good housekeeping in the laboratory and pilot plant and be responsible for the safety and environmental compliance of the new processes.

INFRASTUCTURE MANAGEMENT (50%):
• Maintain servers, including file , web , proxy servers, including security patches.

• Analyse institute infrastructure needs to implement for services providing improvements to systems.
• Management of the Institute Website.
• Liaise with Global IT teams to ensure compliance to their policies and be a single point of contact for the institute for troubleshooting.

DATA ENGINEERING (25%):
• Support research teams with advice on efficient Data Engineering practices including automation of data pipelines, data cleansing, integrity checks etc.

We are now offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Research Assistant (Software Engineer) in Work Package 2. Work Package 2 aims to develop intelligent and quantified pilot and cabin crew training methods, leveraging eye tracking, AR/VR and post-flight feedback technologies. The National University of Singapore is excited to extend an invitation for applications to the position of Research Assistant (Data Engineer) with the RESET Program. This program is focused on cardiovascular disease and is affiliated with the National University Health System (NUHS) and NUS Cardiovascular Disease Translational Research Programme.
The RESET program aims to be a pioneering force in cardiovascular research, with a focus on translational studies that can bring immediate impact to patient care and well-being. The program needs a Research Assistant (Data Engineer) who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a robust research data platform.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on large, complex datasets, integrating various forms of healthcare data, including electronic health records, clinical test results, molecular readouts, and more. The primary objective is to establish a large scale data infrastructure as a critical foundation piece, which will be integral for ongoing and future research projects.
