Job Description:
- Contribute to IT initiatives for Antaes Asia clients
As a Project Manager, his/her responsibilities are:
- Ensures end-to-end responsibility for achieving the project objectives in accordance with commitments made by the business line.
- Facilitate committees and work closely with the project team to deliver the project deliverables, prioritization, estimations and planning.
- Prepares, consolidates, and validates estimates and schedules throughout the project.
- Maintain project cost without any major drift in overall project costing till end of project. Challenge user needs and provide best optimum solution within budget and capacity.
- Planning of resourcing and capacity based on project needs.
- Creates partnership with product owners, stakeholders, and transversal teams (security, solution architects, compliance)
- Vendor management along with tracking maintenance costs, budgets and offers.
- Ensure coherent of the tasks and commitment based on release and functionality of overall product.
- Contributes & ensures compliance to project governance, Secure Agile or SDLC frameworks.
- Provide regular update/ reporting to his/her Division Manager/Domain Heads
- Understand the impediments/blockers faced by the team and help the team to remove as much as possible.
- Manage the release planning and management of the deliveries and update necessary tools required. Ensure transparency and adapts plans when changes occur. Prioritizes tasks based on importance.
- Able to multi-task and work on multiple projects if required.
As a Proxy Product Owner (PPO), his/her responsibilities are:
- Experience in handling any of the given Regulatory topics : German Tax, AEOI/CRS, FATCA or Tax Statement.
- Gather the business requirements from the Product Owner/End users
- Writes GFS (or user stories) and confirm the understanding with BA who will translate GFS (General Functional specifications) into DFS (Detailed Functional specifications)
- Perform analysis with the BA of the squad application and with other applications squads/teams when involved in multi-systems features and interfaces.
- Work with the testing team to review SIT strategy, test cases and results to ensure quality of delivery.
- Support UAT (reproduce issues, monitoring, fixing with the team).
- Assists stakeholders in diagnosing problems and recognizing issues. Takes time to help them identify critical connections, consequences, and alternatives. Recognizes successful adaptations.
- Recognizes typical as well as complex and unusual issues, and actions needed to advance the decision-making process. Recommends possible solutions.
- Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients
Job Requirements:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- At least 10+ years of experience in the banking IT field (Wealth Management/Private Banking) as a Project Manager/Product Owner/Business Analyst
- Good Knowledge of Regulatory AND Tax Reporting with proven experience on any of the given topics: Tax Regulatory, Performance topics , German Tax reporting (like Church tax, Tax Advises, Tax Certificates, Income Statements, Tax bookings), Client Tax Statement Reporting, AEOI/CRS, FATCA, IRS871m
- Knowledge of Transactions (Corporate Actions and Securities in particular) and securities transactions
- Good Knowledge on Market data providers (i.e. SIX, WmDaten and similar providers)
- Good Knowledge on Reporting systems (i.e. SECTRAS, EasyTax, FiTax or similar applications)
- Basic Knowledge on Standard Core Banking systems (ie Olympic, TRANSACT, Corporate Actions Systems)
- Basic Knowledge on Front Office applications (ie AAA ordering Tools, Client Management Tools)
- Excellent communication skills, able to spearhead Steering Committees and engage with end users and stakeholders at various levels
- Good understanding of project lifecycle and experience in functional and technical specification
- Highly analytical, able to investigate, troubleshoot and determine issues at root cause
