WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

1. Assist our account teams in ongoing PR, social media and digital projects.
2. Research for media materials, social media outreach or new business proposals.
3. Monitor, collate and analyse media coverage.
4. Manage monthly reports to derive insights.
5. Other administrative duties.

QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED

A diploma in any subject is acceptable, although English, journalism, media studies or mass communications are preferred. In-house or Agency experience in corporate communications or public relations will be advantageous.

Job Description: 

• Weekly news digest: Scan the market for relevant news pertaining to insurance, insurtech, travel, airline etc. To prepare a concise weekly summarised email to be shared with senior management.
• Monitoring changes in shareholders: On a monthly basis to identify the Top 20 shareholders movement, share price movements, changes in volume, and shareholder composition based on the register of shareholders provided by the Company Secretary.
• Scheduling meetings (virtual or face-to-face): Arranging the meeting logistics, blocking calendars and providing a meeting brief to internal meeting attendees prior to the actual meeting. To update shareholder meeting database post meeting.
• Planning for the quarterly analyst briefing: This includes liaising with the respective business units on information request, preparing the CEO’s analyst presentation deck, cheat sheet, FAQ, and CEO’s talking points. Handle logistics pertaining to the actual day briefing.
• Updating the Investor Relations webpage: On an ad hoc basis, to monitor can check for information that requires an update.
• Other job scopes which may be delegated by the line manager based on his/her discretion: This includes credit rating, annual general meetings, Corporate/ Investor days, non-deal roadshows, special projects (corporate finance related), vendor payment processing etc.

Qualification: 

• Candidate should possess a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, commerce, finance, business administration, marketing, actuary, or a related field is preferred.

Other Requirements: 

• Numbers savvy - able to understand and interpret financials.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong attention to detail

As an IR & Capital Raising Intern, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential investors. The team is responsible for communicating the fund’s investment strategy, performance, and key value propositions to attract and retain capital commitments. This involves strategizing and executing capital raising campaigns to secure capital commitments by fostering trust and confidence among investors.

Responsibilities

· Conduct investor landscaping and peer benchmarking analysis

· Craft persuasive marketing materials and quarterly investor reports

· Maintain database of investor contacts, preference, and recent interactions

· Manage fundraising pipeline, tracking each investor processes from initial engagement and due diligence to final closing

· Collaborate with investment team to facilitate investor interactions, address inquiries and ensuring effective communication with investors

· Organize investor meetings and roadshows

· Contribute to other areas of the business as needed

Position Requirements

· Excellent ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

· Strong grasp of finance fundamentals (courses in accounting / finance / economics)

· Good PowerPoint, Excel, and writing skills

· Previous finance work experience in banking/placement agent, asset management, or investor relations is a plus

· Natural curiosity to learn and seek exposure to new concepts

· Fluent in English. Additional Asian language is preferred, but not a must

· Working permit in Singapore / Hong Kong is required
