We are in search of a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager who have experience selling directly to the end-user of the oil & gas industry( Boiler, Heater, Digester, Coke Drum etc). As a key player in the Oil and Gas sector, specializing in cutting-edge specialty welding solutions, we are looking for a candidate who can spearhead regional sales strategies and foster strategic relationships to drive business growth in the Oil Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Power Energy industries.

Job Description

• Craft a comprehensive regional sales plan to achieve commercial goals and growth objectives.
• Keep abreast of developments in the Oil Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Power Energy Industry markets.
• Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with key customers.
• Analyze customer needs and identify prospects' interest in our products/services, developing strategies for short-term projects and long-range partnerships.
• Manage the sales funnel, from opportunity creation to facilitating proposals and tender processes.
• Provide intelligence on competitor activities to enhance our competitive edge.
• Deliver impactful presentations to effectively communicate the company's value proposition.
• Act as a representative for the organisation at conferences, exhibitions, and seminars.
• Execute an extensive weekly travel schedule to meet customer meeting targets.
• Serve as an ambassador, maintaining primary regional contact status.

The Successful Applicant

• At least a Bachelor's degree in engineering/business administration or any relevant field.
• Possess knowledge of Oil and Gas processes.
• Have extensive sales and/or key account management training and experience.
• Be able to work flexible hours and maintain an extensive travel schedule (up to 70 percent).
• Demonstrate the ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
• Be customer and service-oriented with strong commercial contract negotiation skills.
• Possess a hunter mentality (including cold calling), along with creativity, ambition, realism, and loyalty.

Job Description

• Engage a range of stakeholders within our Referral Partners: Gatekeepers, Wealth Planners, Market heads and internal Consultants to drive business development activities that increase the percentage of Relationship Managers that actively refer opportunities, closing cases and increase penetration.
• Work closely with the CEOs to plan, design, prioritise and execute business/ partner development activities and ensure the transfer of knowledge and a high level of product technicalities throughout the Consultant groups.
• Work with current client groups with the intent of increasing retention of current business and increasing share of business from current clients.

The Successful Applicant

• 8 years of insurance experience in HNW/UHNW life insurance or insurance broker services
• Business development and build strategic partnership with private banks
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration
• Business Acumen/ Strategic thought process
• Proven track record in development of new clients and retention of existing relationships
