Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading Global Manufacturing Group to recruit a dynamic and experienced Credit Control Analyst, based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. The Credit Control Analyst provides support to both the finance team and wider business to maximise cash collections and minimise outstanding debt. An interesting and varied Credit Control analyst role offering remote/office hybrid working and future development/progression within a well-established global group.
Your new role
Your key duties will involve proactively managing debtor ledgers and ensuring the timely collection of debts. You will evaluate new credit requests and set up new customers. Review existing credit limits and ensure these are up-to-date, manage and track payments from pro forma customers, along with maintaining accurate records of all collection activities. You will post cash receipts to the accounting systems, ensure all receipts are allocated to outstanding invoices, along with sending out regular customer statements. You will attend bi-weekly debtor review meetings with senior management, provide reports/summaries of customers' accounts, raise credit notes and billing documents, along with uploading invoices to customer portals. You will resolve any credit queries for both customers and internal teams/management, along with being involved in ad-hoc duties/projects that support the group's credit control processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this hand-on and permanent Credit Control Analyst role, you will need experience in a similar position. Proactive and be able to work on your own initiative, with a positive attitude. You will have strong communication skills to build external and internal relationships, experience of resolving complex queries involving multiple stakeholders, and be able to manage workloads to meet time-constrained deadlines. You will have strong MS excel skills and be trained in a range of financial systems. You will be able to demonstrate previous experience of reducing accounts receivable balances. Experience within the manufacturing sector previously would be advantageous but not essential.

This permanent Credit Control Analyst role offers a salary between £28,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependable on experience, based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire offering remote/office hybrid working.
