JOB DESCRIPTION
· Handle a spectrum of finance-related activities that include financial accounting and reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management
· Correspond with the external auditor for the statutory financial reports and tax professional for the corporate taxation
· Handle day-to-day accounting, finance, administration, and payroll functions
· Handle the preparation of month-end closing reports, year-end closing reports, and schedules
· Handle GST reporting and filing
· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Details
1) Full set of Accounts
· Monitor accounts receivable (Local) and accounts payables
· Do the monthly bank reconciliation
· Record, review, and track Accruals, Prepayments, and Deposits
· Do Depreciation and Revaluation Schedules
· Do the journal entries
· Handle petty cash transactions by implementing the Imprest System
· Issue invoices for both construction projects and other maintenance jobs
· Communicate with the suppliers, main cons, and sub-cons regarding the projects
· Prepare Project Budgets and monitor actual costs against budgetary costs
· Handle the preparation of month-end closing reports, year-end closing reports, and schedules
· Handle GST reporting and filing
· Review the Corporate Tax Calculation done by the external tax service professional
· Correspond with the external auditor for the statutory financial reports and tax professional for the corporate taxation
· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
2) Human Resource Management
· Prepare the monthly payrolls
· Maintain the Employees’ Profiles and their leave application
· Facilitate the recruitment process
· Do the dormitory arrangements for manual workers
· Arrange the upfront medical checkup for the employees
· Prepare and file the employees’ income tax submission (IR21 / IR8A)
