MAIN RESPONSIBILTITES Develop a risk-based IT systems audit schedule to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements, good clinical, operational and administrative practice, departmental SOPs and applicable Trust policies. Develop a change request log to support ongoing discussion with the third-party supplier. Provide regular update to the Chief Information Officer and other key internal stakeholders at senior management level. Manage staff and resources as instructed by the Data Quality Manager and act on behalf of the department manager as required, including budget management and monitoring responsibilities. The post will sit within the Data Quality section of the Performance & Information department and will work closely with IT Systems owners, developers and users to ensure the accuracy, completeness and validity of the data captured within the organisation. The post-holder will work closely with Project Managers where data migration between systems is required, and this will be a primary focus of the role as the trust transitions to a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.

This is a specialist post which will undertake the audit of our core and ancillary operational and clinical IT systems, identify data quality issues and develop rectification plans as required. The post holder will have a comprehensive knowledge of data quality auditing particularly as related to healthcare data systems. They will be confident in identifying data quality problems, addressing issues, and raising these with clinical, non-clinical and third-party supplier/developers to improve system quality and usability.

The initial focus of the post will be the data migration element of new EPR implementation project to ensure that any migrated data is of sufficient completeness, quality, and functionality. The Senior Auditor is an intermediate level role responsible for leading or performing moderately complex audits and assessments of Citi’s risk and control environments in coordination with the Audit team. • Perform complex audits including drafting audit reports, presenting issues to the business, and discussing practical solutions
• Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs
• Monitor, assess, and recommend solutions to emerging risks
• Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the development of automated routines to help focus audit testing
• Draft audit reports, and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross-functional solutions
• Recommend appropriate and pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues
• Apply understanding of internal audit standards, policies, and local regulations to provide timely audit assurance
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency,

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience,
• Related certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar) are desired,
• Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills,
• Subject matter expertise related to technology infrastructure,
• Effective project management skills,
• Effective influencing and relationship management skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
