As a Supervisory International Trade Specialist, you will perform the following duties:
- Support the Deputy Director General in engagements and negotiations with the State Department, and other U.S. Government agencies on Departmental and interagency policies, programs, and initiatives.
- Advise the Deputy Director General in the development of Global Market (GM) goals and objectives for assigned programs and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain liaison with International Trade Administration (ITA) legislative affairs officials on matters of interest to Global Markets and its stakeholders; engages and interacts with members of the foreign service community, including embassies, associations, and chambers of commerce on matters of interest of GM, ITA and the Department.
- Help lead Global Market's efforts to engage U.S. Trade organizations and participants in the implementation of trade promotion strategies, initiatives.
- Plan, direct, and assess actions of team members in pursuit of effective accomplishment of the office's mission.
