Summary of Job Duties:

The Web Content and Technology Intern will work closely with the Digital Design and Development Manager, Digital Content Specialist and the communications team to assist in crafting and curating digital properties at the Sam M. Walton College of Business. In this role, you will work within a variety of channels including the web properties found at https://walton.uark.edu, paid media platforms and podcast hosting platforms.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Current student at sophomore level or above at the University of Arkansas pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising/PR, Information Systems, Web Design and Development, Computer Science or a related field with at least one year of experience in web marketing or digital media 

OR

• Current student at sophomore level or above at the University of Arkansas who is pursuing any degree but has at least two years of demonstrated experience in web marketing or digital media

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing websites

• Basic understanding of html or willingness to learn

• Experience editing images: sourcing, sizing, cropping

• Experience handling audio and video assets.

• Experience in working with content management systems such as Omni-Update

• Experience in analyzing web analytics such as Google Analytics

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Working knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals/principles

• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, visual)

• Ability to organize, prioritize and maintain a multi-project load

• Strong ability to edit and check the quality of your work

Il candidato si occuperà di:

• Attività SEM:
  • Pianificazione strategica di campagne Google Ads per siti italiani e multilingua, con diverse tipologie di obiettivi e in diverse reti (Rete Ricerca, Display, Youtube, App).
  • Analisi dello scenario competitivo, definizione e allocazione del budget, definizione dei KPI.
  • Start up di campagna, con definizione di target, keyword, annunci/banner e setting di campagna; utilizzo della piattaforma Google Ads.
  • Gestione operativa quotidiana, monitoraggio e ottimizzazione delle campagne.
  • Reportistica periodica e finale, con analisi dei dati e suggerimento next step.

• Attività SEO:
  • Analisi on site e del posizionamento organico, audit di SEO tecnica per siti italiani e multilingua; studio dello scenario competitivo e del settore in ottica di traffico organico; definizione dell’alberatura del sito più efficace per la SEO.
  • Analisi di keyword e traffico organico: condurre approfondite analisi delle ricerche online, definizione strategica delle keyword adeguate per il posizionamento organico del sito secondo gli intenti di ricerca degli utenti target;
  • Strategia e attuazione SEO: sviluppare e attuare strategie SEO per migliorare i ranking sui motori di ricerca e l'efficienza complessiva dei siti web.
  • Esaminare e fornire consulenze tecniche riguardo ai contenuti, alla struttura del sito, allo sviluppo tecnico, inclusa la gestione di indicizzazione, reindirizzamenti e codici di errore.
  • Monitoraggio e ottimizzazione delle prestazioni web, utilizzando strumenti SEO e analitici.
