About the role

• Oversee and deliver performance objectives by successful delivery of Sales initiatives.
• Lead and manage the Sales teams to maximise market position of the hotels on an ongoing basis.
• Work with the Portfolio Director of Revenue and Portfolio Commercial Team to achieve optimum revpar/revenue/yield results for all segments of the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Director of IT is responsible for the following task but not limited to the below:

• Oversee hotel IT Services team from managerial aspects and provide guidance to ensure all technology based questions can be answered promptly.
• Manage the day to day operations and scheduling of IT colleagues.
• Ensure that the team consistently provides a high level of operational stability for property based technology, and high levels of service and support to colleagues and guests
• Maintain and promote core technology standards and maintain Accor best practices in respect to property systems.
• Ensure that Accor Technology Policies and Procedures are carried out, according to The Finance & Accounting Policy Manual and as outlined in the Systems Manager user Guide.
• Provide technical expertise and project management for all technology projects.
• Provide twenty-four hour support for mission critical systems as documented in the service escalation document.
• Attend operational meetings as required.
• Effectively communicates technology related plans, actions and decisions with the hotel team.
• Contribute to Technology Services knowledge base.
• Implement and maintain backup and emergency procedures to ensure integrity of programs and data at all times.
• Be fiscally responsible by adhering to set budgetary guidelines.
• Provide point of escalation support to Accor team.
• Assist and support the hotel’s strategic plan implementation.

• Coordinate Sales operations with the other departments of the organization.
• Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the organization.
• Ensure maintenance of customer database.
• Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.
• Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Sofitel Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Director Food & Beverage to continue to guide the hotel’s restaurant, bar and banqueting operation. The Director Food and Beverage will report to the General Manager and will be integral to the overall department's operations, assisting to oversee all Food and Beverage Departments, balancing guest expectations, employee needs and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct and drive the F&B department.
• Implement all Sofitel F&B standards and specifications within department
• Develop and administer F&B budget, action plan and promotional activities of the department to stimulate sales and profit while controlling operating expenses.
• Prepare, implement and compile data for the monthly reporting, annual goals, F&B budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required
• Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence
• Manage performance issues that arise within the F&B teams
• Ensure appropriate hiring, training, motivating, coaching, counseling and developing of department’s team members
• Evaluate changes in guest needs, the guest mix and competitive set, to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes as necessary
• Ensure guest and employee satisfaction, while maintaining market competitiveness and exceptional financial performance
• Be an inspiration to all hotel staff to achieve luxury levels of performance
• Interact in a positive way with all team members to ensure a luxury guest experience
