Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and maintaining TWS infrastructure which includes handling production problems, deep troubleshooting of issues, identify root cause and fix the issues permanently.
• Install, customize, enhance, and integrate IBM TWS infrastructure with multiple platforms to support scheduling (Cloud and OpenShift integrations).
• Perform day to day administration and operation activities for the TWS infrastructure such handling user queries/issues, minor & major TWS upgrades, patching, ISCD & NVA fixing etc.
• Responsible for continuous operation of TWS infrastructure across the region and improve the service delivery by automating/fixing the issues permanently.
• Support rotational 24x7 on-call duty mobile in case any incident/problem reported during out of office hours.
• Automate common operation, administration, and monitoring tasks for the TWS infrastructure.
• Ensure availability, performance and supportability for TWS infrastructure.
• Develop and deliver software products and automation systems on-time with good quality.

Requirements

• Tivoli subject matter expert (SME) with a strong background in Tivoli Workload Scheduler design, implementation, deployment & issue troubleshooting experience.
• More than 8 years of production support experience as TWS Administrator.
• Working experience in operating system such as Linux/AIX/Wintel.
• Good hands-on system administration experience on Tivoli Workload Scheduler version 9.x. & 10.x
• Understanding on various development, testing and deployment tools - GIT/GITHUB, JENKINS, DOCKER, KUBERNETES & PUPPET
• Understanding on various TWS scheduling options and troubleshoot if any problem. Scheduling options are HTTP, HTTPs, restful webservice, java, oracle, resource pool, dynamic pool, and remote jobs.
• Good working knowledge in one or more scripting languages such as Perl, Python and shell scripts on Linux or UNIX platforms.

• Review and triage purchase requests to ensure the purchase is handled through the optimal channel or team to optimize total cost, comply with policies and ensure accuracy, speed and efficiency
• Consult with and advise internal requesters regarding their purchasing needs and troubleshoot their questions and issues
• Run rapid sourcing events and negotiate with suppliers to generate the best total cost and quality
