About Team:
The Immunology Department provides a good overview of the various immunological techniques from automation to manual testing applied in clinical trials. You will learn about the various assays and their applications which are essential for clinical and commercial application which has facilitated the discovery of new diagnostics and treatments to manage a wide array of diseases.
· You will be trained across the various benches in Immunology Department from automated instrumentation to manual EIA testing techniques.
· Good understanding of clinical testing from sample collection to testing and the use of different tests.
· Trained in the operation and maintenance of multiple analyzers.
· Perform quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
· The intern will be trained in pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical aspects of the department workflow and the applications of various assays.
Internship Assignment Summary:
· Student will gain clinical experience working in the laboratory of a drug development company.
· Attend laboratory modules linked to quality control management, pipetting skills and the various informatics labware.
· Engage in professional development workshops to enhance your soft skills and professional presence
· Good Laboratory Practice
· Inventory management.
· Able to commit to a 6-month internship (from Jan 2024 to Jun 2024) is preferred.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
· Bachelor of Science degree (Biological Sciences/Biomedical).
· Good organization and multitasking ability.
· Able to communicate effectively with excellent verbal/written communication skills.
· Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
