About the Team
The Implementation team is a close knit, dedicated team of people who provide exceptional support to educational leaders implementing College Board’s SpringBoard instructional programs. The team is responsible for developing and delivering professional learning services for leaders, supporting large and strategic district implementation of our programs, and serving as an advocate and voice for our customers. About the Opportunity
As Director of Implementation and Instructional Support, you are an expert in educational leadership and leveraging SpringBoard programs to drive equity and access for students. You serve as the main point of contact for the largest SpringBoard districts in the country, ensuring professional learning opportunities are delivered successfully. You enable high quality district partnerships, development and delivery of leadership services, and instructional supports.
In this role, you will:
Delivery of Professional Learning Services (40%)
Manage professional learning events, including collaborating with relevant College Board teams to monitor ordering and event tracking
Assist in the delivery of administrator and instructional leader professional learning (including classroom observations).
Deliver customized professional learning supports to meet the differentiated needs of districts.
Assigned District Support (40%)
Connect districts to appropriate professional learning experiences, resources, and expertise.
Act as district leadership’s main point of contact to address implementation support including issues relating to content, instruction, technology, and/or other relationship issues/concerns.
Act as liaison between schools and internal experts on content, technology, instruction, and product development. Have the program knowledge to address most customer questions independently and the internal knowledge to find answers to more complex questions in a timely manner.
Scaled Support to National Users (20%)
Address implementation support including issues relating to content, instruction, technology, and/or other relationship issues/concerns for unassigned sites and districts across the country.
Provide virtual support and professional learning.
About You
You have:
Bachelor’s degree, with a Masters or Doctoral degree in an education-related field preferred
Minimum of five to seven years of middle/high school teaching, administrative or instructional content experience, with site or district-level administrative/supervisory experience preferred
Clear communicator with the ability to target written and oral communication effectively for different audiences
A self- starter, an independent problem solver, with excellent judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple situations simultaneously in a fluid environment, and the ability to view issues from multiple perspectives
Strong computer skills
Proven analytical and process improvement skills
Able to utilize strong customer service skills and work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Highly adaptable to new information, situations, or challenges and can work independently and collaboratively with equal facility
Creative and able to come up with fresh approaches to tough instructional and implementation of change initiatives
Ability to stay calm with a sense of humor during challenging customer interactions
Knowledge and experience using Pre-AP and/or SpringBoard programs preferred
Ability to travel 40% of the time

What you will do
The Director, Sales Support, Global Center of Excellence and Inside Sales will manage and lead a team responsible for business analytics, data insights, automation of GCOE and ISS tools and processes, and execute GCOE and ISS strategic initiatives globally for the team.
Working alongside GCOE and ISS region leaders, region sales leads, commercial operations, IT, and Finance the Director will lead program teams ensuring each function manages their deliverables in order to meet the initiative schedule and budget while enhancing reporting and process flow in order to drive improvement in GCOE and ISS effectiveness metrics (Efficiency, Yield, and Throughput Velocity) with specific focus on performance metrics associated with each (e.g., Productivity and Cost, Win Rate and Abandon Rate, Cycle Time and Quality). The Director will also prepare a business analytics and data strategy to augment the creation of a world class Global Center of Excellence and Inside Sales Organization which becomes a growth engine for the field. The Director may represent the GCOE at regular accountability and cadence meetings and will be responsible for clearly and concisely presenting the status of all open projects to groups of stakeholders.
How you will do it
Works collaboratively with leaders across GCOE and ISS, Region functional groups, sales, and GFO adjacent teams.
Identifies, determines and executes strategic initiatives for business outcomes.
Acts independently to resolve challenges and to address opportunities related to the data, tools and processes.
Work is both strategic and operational in nature.
Lead team meetings with all functional areas to track progress, identify issues and develop action plans.
Holding team members accountable for their deliverables in accordance to requirements and verifying completion of each deliverable.
Manage issues, risks and opportunities, assisting team members in removing roadblocks and escalating to management issues that cannot be resolved.
Manage the program schedule documenting detailed tasks for each functional area, responsibility for the task, begin and end dates, and percent complete.
Document critical path and track weekly to ensure schedule is maintained, and document actions to recover programs that are behind track.
Prepare for and report on program statuses at regular EC, BCC and other reviews communicating progress on any prior identified issues and or initiatives.
Handle coordination and implementation of designated performance improvement initiatives to drive effectiveness and operational excellence within the GCOE and ISS.
Track and drive key metrics and KPIs, identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Support improvements in field capabilities by developing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture within GCOE and ISS teams, focus on pre sales technical support to drive effectiveness.
Work alongside other departments in the coordination, implementation, and delivery of data business analytics, reporting and action insights.
Lead Lesson Learnt Process, conduct lesson learnt reviews where required and historic project data analytic reviews to identify poor performance trends, develop improvements actions and ensure dissemination across the team; ensuring that standard process is exercised.
Support tracking and management of the contingency values within the team to ensure optimum utilization.
Support and drive the development and usage of ‘self-serve data analytics’ and process automation deeper in the organization while providing curated concierge service to leaders within the GCOE and ISS.
Own the GCOE ISO certification auditing process for compliance and quality including but not limited to: the QAQC process, Kaizen processes, patents.
