Job Responsibilities :
The Risk manager role will lead and oversees the execution of a successful Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, including management of outsourcing risks and business continuity risks for all regulated/licensed entities with the guidance of the Regulatory Compliance team.
- Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization’s product offerings, services, processes, and technology in line with regulatory expectations and the organization’s risk tolerance.
- Design and implement an overall risk management framework for the organization, which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risks occur.
- Conducts risk assessments and reviews in line with best practices by collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and risk events, identifying where processes may be failing and recommend controls.
- Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements.
- Recommends and implements risk management solutions such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures.
- Works with Regulatory Compliance in preparing risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff.
- Works with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Information Technology (IT) risk functions, ensuring adequate oversight over technology risk.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Pre-Requisites :
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience working in risk management, compliance, regulatory management, audit, assurance or related areas
- Prior experience and knowledge of the payments/e-commerce industry and the major trends affecting our stakeholders, including regulatory, market environment, competitive landscape, and technology
- Experience with the development and implementation of risk management frameworks (including Risk Appetite Metrics, Risk and Control Self-Assessments, Key Risk Indicators and Risk Scenario analysis)
- Experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM/BCP) will be and added advantange.
- Knowledge of business process reviews and internal control frameworks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Any professional qualification related to risk, compliance, or internal controls is desirable
