Your new role
Your new job working as a Technician means you will provide support to Brokers and Underwriters. You will be responsible for timely and accurate production of debit/credit notes, security schedules, evidence of cover and endorsements you must also need to ensure everything is compliant with company and client regulations. You will also produce evidence of insurance/certificates/letters of Undertaking for third parties of client's instructions and review documents at key stages to ensure they are accurate. Other duties will include processing premiums and other transactions as necessary and generating the correct market closing documents. You will be responsible for managing premium payments and pursue the receipts of funds from clients to ensure settlement terms/PPWs are met
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Technician handling an international markets will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will be confident in the understanding of Insurance Market procedures and have good knowledge of back office, post placement functions and how this aligns with front end process. You will show willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning, both internally and externally to the firm.
