International Trade Advisor / Business Consultant who understands the Global Trade Landscape and keeps up to date with general business issues is required for a Business Network Association based in Preston, Lancashire, North West England.
SALARY: £35,000 per annum + Benefits

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an International Trade Advisor / Business Consultant who understands the Global Trade Landscape and keeps up to date with general business issues.
International Trade is a major element of the organisation’s work, and they are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join them as an International Trade Advisor / Business Consultant to develop their International Trade offer to new and existing members.
Working as the International Trade Advisor / Business Consultant you must be able to deal effectively with enquiries and provide high quality practical advice, support and guidance to business clients regarding their international trade, export documentation, customs declarations, and other global growth services.
An understanding of the Global Trade landscape is essential, as well as the need to keep up with general business issues including major developments occurring within the area.
As the International Trade Advisor / Business Consultant you will also have responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of existing contracts held by the organisation, as well as identifying new funding opportunities available.
As a successful candidate you must be able to manage a range of different tasks, with excellent time management skills and flexibility on working hours. As an International Trade Advisor / Business Consultant you must possess outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and be comfortable making presentations to the organisation’s members, the board of directors and other senior business leaders.
Applicants must be qualified to drive and possess their own vehicle.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Must understand the Global Trade Landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Great listening skills with the ability to offer practical advice and support to businesses
• Confidence in dealing with high-profile people from a wide range of backgrounds
• Good presentation skills via Teams, in-person and to groups
There is the need for the candidate to attend meetings and events at other venues so they require the ability to drive and hold a full UK driving licence.
The successful candidate must have the Right to Work in the UK and be able to produce proof at interview stage.
