About this role;

We are looking for an energetic, go-getter and results driven Director of Sales and Marketing.
Works closely with the General Manager to determine appropriate sales strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the resort revenues. The director of sales and marketing is responsible for driving revenue to the property through sales and marketing tactics.
The director of sales and marketing also creates an effective revenue management strategy to ensure the resort’s profitability in all market conditions through sales and marketing strategies.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Manage, lead, and develop the resort sales & marketing team to support the sales and marketing strategies and to deliver exceptional, profitable sales growth and results.
• Provide strategic sales and marketing leadership to ensure the resort achieves profitable revenue growth, continues to increase market share, develop innovative selling competencies, and builds a sustainable industry leadership position for the resort.
• He/she is also responsible for maximum occupancy of conferences and banquettes to optimize general business opportunities.
• Advise the resort management team on sales and marketing direction, competitors, marketing trends, including e-marketing and distribution technology trends.
• Fully understand how the resort is regarded in the community in conjunction with a thorough knowledge of the competitive situation in terms of business mix of competitors, pricing and rate structures, sales and advertising strategies and future resort planning within the community.
• Meets sales and marketing financial objectives by forecasting requirements and
  preparing annual budgets.
• Create excellent client relationships through attention to detail; prompt follow up and empathy for customer perceptions and needs whilst maintaining professionalism.
• Suggests innovative marketing ideas and proactively develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share for the property.
• Develops strong community and public relations by ensuring property participation in local, and national tradeshows and client events.

Renewals are the life blood of a company’s revenue stream, and the Renewals leader must be able to both focus on the achievement of Renewals targets while keeping a strong teaming approach in their engagement with Sales leadership.

● Partner closely with Geo leaders on continually refining our Renewals strategy/process and engagement with Sales & Customer Success

● Ensure that Renewal policies, procedures and processes are understood and implemented consistently and cross-functionally

● Follow Corporate guidelines and forecast current / future quarter renewal opportunities accurately and on a weekly basis

● Partner with Sales leadership to ensure alignment in our go-to-market for Sales/Renewals

● Become an expert in Sprinklr products and solutions, often re-selling the value and identifying future expansion opportunities

● Provide role clarity for team members and link departmental goals to the larger organization and Corp Initiatives

● Create and deliver summaries of key performance metrics that help the Sales organization focus on Renewals execution & expansion, our customer’s success and account planning for the Renewal

● Engage with field operations to establish effective analysis of trends and performance in order to continually identify greater efficiencies. and achieve operational excellence.

● Work closely with our Channels teams to drive growth and expansion via our partners

● Assist Sales, Renewals reps and/or leadership with Renewals negotiations & strategic discussions

● Lead cross functional initiatives in support of Renewals, collaborating closely with Sales, Operations, Customer Success and Finance

Requirements

● 10+ years of progressive Leadership experience in Renewals, Sales and/or Customer Success, preferably in a SaaS environment

● 3+ years success leading a team of individual contributors and/or other managers

● Strong executive presence and ability to closely partner with multiple layers of the organization

● Strong financial/analytical background who is sales driven with a growth mindset

● Experience scaling teams in a hyper-growth environment

● Ability to adapt and plan on the fly and deliver on both the customer and organizational needs

● Strong communication (both written and oral), negotiation, and presentation skills

● Demonstrated focus on execution towards desired outcomes with a track record of success under pressure

● Experience creating employee-focused programs to drive engagement

● A strong understanding of enterprise software selling processes
