Currently, we're hiring Legal Consultant to join us with:
- 7+ years of relevant experience as in-house or commercial lawyer within Technology.
- In-house legal experience is preferred (directly, or as a secondee) though not essential.
- Strong commercial understanding and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, with a view of providing commercially tailored advice.
- Strong knowledge of Technology and Data Privacy matters pertaining to multiple regulations.
The responsibilities for this role will include:
- Providing subject matter advice relating to the entire life cycle of personal data from collection to deletion.
- Liaising and collaborating on privacy matters with Global Legal team from a range of teams on global projects and queries, particularly understanding global positions derived from the GDPR.
- Supporting legal matters, including legal / regulatory advice and contract drafting / reviewing across the spectrum of practice areas within Technology sector.
- Working with and advising business clients directly, while providing guidance and practical solutions.
- Analyzing new business initiatives and new products / services from a legal aspect where required.
- Proactively monitor and ensure compliance with domestic and international legal requirements, while promoting compliance culture and awareness within the business.
