Job Responsibilities:

• Preferable to have relevant working experience in Sales & Marketing

As a Student Trainee (Mathematics, Statistics, and Operations Research), you will:

• Perform mathematical computations of data. The operations may be complex because of the number of compilations to be made and their interrelationships, but the individual computations performed are of a simple nature involving basic statistical operations, such as measures of central tendency and dispersion.
• Prepare graphs through the use of computers, as instructed.
• Write brief summaries of analysis. These summaries may require referencing external materials, including Commission reports and news articles.

• Assists higher-graded staff in the application of computer software and installation and/or maintenance of computer hardware.
• Assists the technicians in fact-finding to define and describe the objectives, purposes and procedures of the work involved and routine procedures to ensure smooth operation of the computer systems assigned.
• Utilizes well-defined steps, assists with loading commercially purchased or locally developed software onto personal computers.
• Assists with system installation operation, communication, and maintenance, e.g., helps to set-up new pc workstations, assists with Local Area Network (LAN) installations, performs minor system maintenance and/or upgrades.
• Manages Information Technology (IT) Equipment. Conducts mandatory inventory, oversees IT equipment logistics, turn-in process, and inventory levels.
• Assists in reviewing software packages, reports, procedural manuals, and processing objectives to discern similar but differing requirements for application to the command’s information processing requirements.

• Assists senior specialist and supervisor in conducting finance and budget analyst functions and coordinates the preparation of the operating budget.
• Assists in the financial budgets and formulation of budget estimates.
• Assists higher-graded staff in solving the day-to-day problems encountered with budget projects.
• Utilizes computers and software including Corps-developed software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Assists in the selection and compilation of specific data in preparation, assimilation, and submission of annual budgets.
• Notifies supervisor or higher graded analyst of suspected financial and budget problems and makes recommendations.
• Assists in execution of approved operating finance and budgets, checks and monitor the rate and number.
• Assists Program Division staff identify and document best practices.
• Develops and coordinates a variety of basic/routine reports, staff actions, correspondence and other related actions.
• Researches legal, financial, and regulatory material to obtain factual information and/or interpretation for use by the supervisor or other Program Division staff members.
• Builds charts/presentations based on analytical results from other Program Division staff members.

• Assists supervisor and other Program Division staff members in the formulation of milestones, goals, target dates, and requirements to evaluate/analyze various aspects of projects/programs
• Assists in monitoring status of accomplishment against established schedules. tasked to identify anticipated problem areas and initiate simple corrective actions

• Assists in planning and organizing actions necessary to accomplish short- and long-term program goals

• Develops and coordinates a variety of basic/routine reports, staff actions, correspondence and other related actions.
• Researches legal, financial, and regulatory material to obtain factual information and/or interpretation for use by the supervisor or other Program Division staff members.
• Builds charts/presentations based on analytical results from other Program Division staff members.

Major Duties:

• Implementation/delivery of training programs.
• Assist with the enrollment process, to include maintaining automated databases of participant record's.
• Perform administrative functions for the overall implementation of courses including logistics associated with scheduling classes and instructors
• Monitoring and Evaluating Program and Training Effectiveness.
• Assist in monitoring tests and evaluation's.
• Assist in recommending ways to enhance efficiency and quality through innovations and improvements in the way work is done.
• Development of courses, curricula, and conference topics and agendas.
• Assist in drafting instructional materials. Supports development of finished products.
• Collaborate with other areas to ensure comprehensive training products fulfill the client needs.
