Key Responsibilities:
- The Construction Manager shall be responsible for the management planning, and co-ordination of all activities for the execution of the Works, liaison with the S.O., management of the public out-reach programme and all administrative matters and contractual issues in relation to the Rehab of Drain lines project.
- Lead the planning and execution of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Build, lead, and motivate a team of staff and supervisors to achieve project objectives, providing guidance, coaching, and support as needed.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Oversee the management of the public outreach program, ensuring effective communication with the public, addressing community concerns, and maintaining a positive image of the project.
- Handle all contractual issues related to the project, including review, negotiation, and interpretation of contracts, as well as managing administrative tasks and documentation.
- Manage project resources efficiently, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Senior Management and the client, outlining project status, milestones achieved, and any potential issues.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Diploma in relevant field (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related disciplines) with CSCPM, CSSA and other relevant courses.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Scaffolding field.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Proficient in contract negotiation and management, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
