Role: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, QUALITY DEPARTMENT
Directly assist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer along with providing support to the quality department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Document control administrator for quality management system updates
- Initiate scrap procedures and perform associated data entry
- Complete reports, charts, and documents as needed
- Assist in tracking jobs through the department
- Collaborate with other departments regarding product rework
- Data entry into various systems/programs
- Other duties as needed
Other Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required:
- Must be very organized, detail/quality oriented
- Must show a strong aptitude for prioritizing multiple projects/task simultaneously
- Must have the ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
- Self-starter that can work independently along with working in a team environment
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong aptitude for learning new computer programs/systems
Physical Requirements:
This position will require an employee to perform the following functions effectively, with or without reasonable accommodation:
- Sitting/standing for extended periods, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling and working on a computer for long periods of time.
- Performing work in both office and shop environment
- Occasional requirements may include lifting and carrying a maximum of 20 lbs.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Candidates that do not have a HS diploma or GED will be required to take a pre-employment assessment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. International Traffic in Arms Regulation/Export Administration Regulations (ITAR/EAR) clearance
- Must be able to work cooperatively in a team environment
