Job Description

• Perform accounts receivable or accounts payable tasks, as assigned in the Singapore Finance and Accounting regional hub, and ensure they are performed in accordance to company SOP
• Perform month, and year-end closings as needed, in accordance with the International Financial Reporting
• Standards (IFRS).
• Assist with the preparation of reconciliation reports and financial disclosure documents.
• Perform fixed asset accounting and ensure accurate postings
• Perform Intra-Region Inter company transactions such as VAT transfers, cash centralization, making or receiving payments on behalf of other company overseas locations, dividend payouts, royalty charges and cost allocations
• Assist with Taxation or other statutory related role - Ensure completeness of SAP interface.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities

• Review account closure documents & process requests from customers, branches, Business Units
• Review offboarding request from Business Units and ensure that monitoring and follow ups to ensure that all products are closed in Products and Services system
• Review account name change documents & process requests from customers
• Verify customer’s signatures via bank records to ensure legitimate of letter closure / account name change instructions
• Prepare rejection letter for incomplete documentations or unclear closure / account name change instructions
• Support Business Units for maintenance instructions
• Process CDD review cases to ensure that the Directors and management are accurately screened, and all the supporting documents are provided in accordance to the latest CDD guidelines as well as FATCA CRS reporting requirements
• Attending to email & phone enquires from BUs, GTS, COO and operation teams
• Handle internal customer compliant tactfully and ensure responsive problem solving for enquiries from branches and other units / parties within benchmark
• Ensure SOPs and PRMs are updated

Requirement

• Min. 2 year of Operations experience in financial institutions would be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to multi-tasking and manage different activities
• Good team player

• Perform technical verification checks on customers deposit accounts against Bank’s operating systems
• Toggle between different systems to perform pre-processing and data entries into various systems
• Update reports on daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Handle internal/external enquiries
• Trigger notification to inform customer on the application status
• Exceptional handling on cases unable to be processed by robotic tool
• Conduct root cause analysis and engage Support team to resolve robotics’ tool issues
• Escalate any discrepancy / deviation to the Team Manager
