An MIS Officer and Project Implementation Partner is in charge of ensuring that relevant information is accessed and provided to the relevant parties. He/she will also in-charge of implementation of assgined projects.
The MIS Officer is primarily responsible for the following:
- Ensuring the accuracy, compliance, control, security, and relevance of data sourced from different investment Business Units that provide information on BDO SG's business development metrics.
- Summarizing the information gathered to show insight on the different management levels from RMs, Team Heads, Center Heads, Business Unit Heads and BDO's Management.
- Providing support to the Relationship Management Unit's day-to-day tasks through initiatives that may reduce processing time or providing sales insight for increased production.
- Ensuring that all users' feedback on the reports and data provided are addressed through resolution of functional errors and improvement in report capabilities and information.
- Safeguarding the security of data across all levels by adhering to the data management policies of the bank.
- In-charge of implementation of assigned projects
Duties and Responsibilities
A. Business Intelligence and Reporting
a. Data Structure Design and Architecture
- Design and develop enhanced data structures and increase the data quality metrics (accuracy, compliance, control, security, and relevance) for the data accessible to the Business Unit.
- Source data from Treasury, Securities, and other Investment Business Units that Account Holders are able to access.
- Keep and organize data sourced from different Investment Units for record-keeping and performance evaluation.
b. Management Reports and Insights
- Consolidate data sourced for management report purposes relating to business development metrics (Volume and Accounts)
- Produce on-time and accessible reports for the different management levels (BU Head to ManComm)
- Provide insights on the performance and changes in the metrics of the unit
- Provide reports relevant to partner Business Units for leads provided
- Summarize volume and accounts referred by the business unit
- Provide recognition for top referrers for better business unit relationship
- Enable the different sales level (RMs, SRMs, Team Heads, and Center Heads) visibility on their respective achievements on the topline metrics and other metrics defined in their KRA plans
- Provide topline metrics report to the Comptroller’s Office for budget tracking
- Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team for regular and ad hoc reports
B. Relationship Management Support
- Provide templates that minimize the time needed to process daily, weekly, or monthly reports
- Provide investment maturities reports for onboarded clients
- Provide equities summary reports for the RMs/SRMs to use as reference on client’s upcoming settlement dates
- Ensure the leads used and referred have complete information relevant to the RM
C. Data Structure Maintenance
- Provide immediate feedback and resolution on functional errors in the available data structures
- Consolidate responses and requests for improvements proposed for the platform for increase in capability
- Continuously evaluate existing data structures on the data quality metrics to further streamline and improve existing processes.
