To ensure continued personal safety and safety of contractors, service users and staff by working within the safe practice guidelines provided by the security department. To schedule and allocate planned and unplanned works on a daily basis for Security Assistants. Liaise with Estates and Capital Development and any other departments as required on a weekly basis and update planned works register. To deal with bookings from Estates and communicate works to respective unit coordinators for unplanned or emergency work on a daily basis. To fully administer Security Assistants shifts on health roster, including bank and agency workers in liaison with estates, capital. To undertake any other administration duties as and when necessary in support of the key escort functions in relation to Estates and Capital. To assist the Security Coordinator in communicating works to respective department and service leads/unit coordinators for planned, reactive or emergency works. This will highlight any disruption to the Service and the need to put any provisional Security measures or contingencies in place Liaise with other departments to ensure other shifts are entered on to health roster, i.e Admin, ICT. To assist the Security Coordinator in the day to day management of the Security Assistants including annual leave and sickness arrangements on Health roster. To ensure that self and internal/external contractors/estates staff work within the policies, procedures, and safe working practices as set out by WLNT. To contribute to own personal development and provide information to others to help their development. To make changes to own practice and offer suggestions for improving service. To maintain the quality of own work and use initiative. To have a clear understanding of all policies and procedures related to post To undertake routine escort duties for Estates and Facilities department. Our Junior Security Coordinators support our Regional Security Manager in ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality operational security services. The role involves a diverse range of responsibilities including:

• Supporting the security desk, handling security advice and providing assistance to travellers, expatriates and corporate security/risk managers.
• Working alongside the security operations team during escalations across all regions.
• Providing ‘Active Monitoring’ services to subscribed clients affected by major security incidents.
• Assisting with coordinating operations as part of an Incident Management Team during escalated situations, evacuations and security operations.
• Collaborating with the Global Threat Analysts to contribute to APAC related operational advice and risk intelligence output.
• Assist in the development of security operational capability across APAC. Take responsibility for asset due diligence across all regions.
• Work with the medical team on emergency medical response plans.

Our requirements for a Junior Security Coordinator:

• A degree or masters (or equivalent) in a related field, such as International Relations, Politics, Terrorism etc.
• Demonstrated expertise and knowledge of political and security issues in the APAC region.
• Demonstrated knowledge of security operations, crisis management and logistics planning.
• Experience of operating in an international context (postings, exchanges or employment within a foreign multinational company).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of working in small, close teams.
• Ability to remain calm and resilient under pressure, whilst following protocol with high attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
• Excellent written and spoken English. A second regional language is an advantage.

Please note that this is a shift-based role, including working weekends and public holidays, and the successful candidate will need to be able to commute to our offices in Singapore for shifts.
