Junior Product Manager - Core Products

This is an entry level position reporting to the Senior Product Manager to work on our core product which provides Privilege Access Management. Our team roles are constantly evolving as we grow, so be prepared for constant tweaks in roles and responsibilities. 

 

What You'll Do

●      You will be part of the product management team working on core products with initial focus areas in analytics or UX

●      You’ll be responsible for the delivery of your selected product focus area

●      You’ll be interacting with customers, PMs, engineers and sales teams to understand their pain points to prioritize features for maximum impact

●      Documenting stories and acceptance criteria, illustrating flows and high level UX that will be understood by engineering teams

●      Collaborate with the release team to plan out releases for your focus area

●      Get your hands dirty with engineering and support teams to understand the ins and outs of the product 

●      Support engineering team tasks when all hands on deck is needed

 

Must have skills

●      Empathy – able to put yourself in another person’s shoes and understand their experiences

●      Critical thinking – capable of breaking big problems into small, manageable tasks

●      Strong written and verbal communication in English

●      Good presentation skills

Nice to have skills

●      Experience in using JIRA and Confluence

●      Experience or interest in cybersecurity

●      Experience working with APIs

●      Experience working with cloud platforms

●      Experience with integrations

●      Have a flair for writing content

The Applied Aviation Sciences Department of the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Daytona Beach, FL invites applications for a tenure-track (PhD required) Assistant Professor of Aerospace and Occupational Safety (AOS) position to begin August 2024.  This is a nine-month, renewable position.

The position includes a mix of teaching, research, and service obligations.  Basic teaching requirements are 9 undergraduate/graduate credit hours per semester. Faculty may replace additional teaching credit hours with equivalent funded research. 

Teaching assignments may include, but not be limited to, graduate and undergraduate courses in aviation safety/accident investigation or occupational safety, and closely related areas.  This position will also include mentoring students as they explore different options with internships, research, coursework, and career trajectories.

The Aerospace and Occupational Safety Program is housed within the Applied Aviation Sciences Department, which offers four bachelor's degree programs: Space Operations, Air Traffic Management, Aerospace and Occupational Safety, and Meteorology.

Aerospace and Occupational Safety is an ABET accredited program that gives students opportunities to gain the knowledge and expertise needed to address safety concerns in aviation, aerospace operations, as well as industries across the globe.  Graduates of the AOS program have filled key safety management roles in both the public and private sectors.

PhD required.

The preferred candidate will have a Doctorate degree in Aviation with an emphasis on safety, or a Doctorate in Safety, Environmental, Public Health, or closely related field.   Prior aviation and/or aerospace workplace experience, including risk management experience is desired.
