The Services required are set out as follows:

· Assist teachers in the preparation of teaching materials, laboratory resources, conduct of practical sessions and preparation of worksheets;

· Provide support for programmes run by the department which may include shifting of bulky laboratory items;

Accompany students on learning journeys

· Manage inventory of school’s laboratory and science equipment and materials;

· Maintain cleanliness and neatness in the Science Laboratory; and

· Assist in any other duties assigned by the school.

Requirement:

· At least 1 year of working experience;

· A pass in English Language at N or O level or its equivalent;

· A pass in Science at N or O level or its equivalent;

· Excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and with the ability to multi-task;

Scope of Works:

Audio-Visual and Information & Communication Technology

• Manage Audio Visual equipment during all major school events

• Set up, test and operate sound/light/Audio Visual systems during school events (e.g. meetings, assemblies, sports day, speech day)

• Maintain inventory and loan records of Audio Visual and Inforcomm Technology equipment examples: Projectors, Visualizers, Swivel, cables, sound systems etc

• Provide consultation to Head of department/ ICT and Subject Head/ICT on the Audio Visual needs of the school.

• Manage Audio Visual equipment in classrooms and all other special rooms and monitor the equipment usage and carry out maintenance on yearly basis.

• Coordinate with vendors on repair services

• Manage the loan and condemnation of Audio Visual and Information Technology Equipments and accessories

• Collaborate and support teachers to effectively utilize the Digital signage and AV system for school-wide communication

Other duties:

• Train the CCA Information Technology Club students to operate the Public Address System equipment/service during assembly and school events

• Prepare CD players and batteries for school and national examinations (e.g. Listening Comprehension, Oral)

• Burning of CDs for examination and school events

• Assist in taking photographs and recording videos for school events, and ah-hoc activities

• Convert video tapes programmes to CDs

• Assist in the troubleshooting of simple Audio Visual /Information & Communication Technology issues.

Requirements:

1. Possess a certificate in Related field or its equivalent.

2. Candidate with at least two years of relevant experiences within the past three years will be preferred.

3. Candidate should also be an excellent team-player who is organized, meticulous and with the ability to multi-task. Strong communication and interpersonal skills is needed.

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Assisting in basic clerical tasks such as printing, checking, and organizing financial assistance and bursary applications, as well as informing parents of the application outcomes and distributing approval letters.
2. Handling counter service and manage telephone enquiries (for e.g. attend to calls at the general office and relay messages to the relevant personnel), including helping to call parents fo absent students to gather reasons for their absence.
3. Printing and organizing school timetables.
4. Distributing hardcopy mails to designated recipients.
5. Updating staff attendance records in the General Office system.
6. Performing other general administrative tasks as delegated by school management.

The Services required are set as follows:

1) Assisting teachers in Science labs / classroom

- Prepare materials before science lessons for P3 to P6

- Preparation of materials for practical tests

- Assisting teachers in the labs during Science lessons

2) Assist in the upkeep of equipment in Science Lab.

- Assisting Teacher IC with:

- recording of loaning/breakage materials

- annual stocking taking of materials in the science lab

- Checking and clearing of unwanted or discard of faulty materials

- Maintenances of equipment by checking the workability of the equipment

- Liaising with vendors to ensure maintenance and checks on equipment are carried out

3) Maintenance of science lab.

Scope:

Reception

1. Manage Front Desk duties with customer service mindset meeting the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting
2. Answer phone calls, attend to walk-in visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a dynamic environment where calls are volumous)
3. Maintain customer related information when required, eg phone log.
4. Communicate with teachers regarding parents’ feedback/ messages from phone calls or walk-in parents

· Assist teachers in science-related activities in the lab during lessons and enrichment lessons if required.

Maintenance

· Ensure that the Science apparatus, equipment, teaching and learning resources are in serviceable conditions including reporting of damages to science level head and head of department.

· Administer the maintenance of the school eco-garden including reporting the conditions of the plants to science level head and head of department.

· Arrange for feeding of fish in pond at eco-garden.

· Administer the maintenance of the Hydroponics system including reporting of damages and faults to science level head and head of department.

· Assist the Science HOD in the monitoring of the inventory for Science apparatus, equipment, teaching and learning resources.

School events

· Assist teachers in preparation of activities for Environmental club and science-related events.

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

- Full GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level certificate or its equivalent

- Good communication and inter-personal skills

- Good team player with high level of initiative

- Preferably certified in basic First Aid, CPR and AED

- Preferably with relevant work experience in primary school laboratory

- Previous experience with hydroponics, vermicomposting and mushroom cultivation is preferred

Scope of Works:

1. Personnel is required to provide customer service at the school’s General Office reception counter.

2. Personnel must be able to handle all incoming telephone calls (including redirecting the calls to correct personnel or take down messages where necessary).

3. Personnel will be required to follow the school’s standard operating procedures closely (e.g., School safety and security SOPs and SOPs in handling late reporting students, injured/sick students, etc.).

4. To keep the reception area neat and tidy at all times.

Printing

Administrative Support

2. When necessary, Personnel will be deployed to other areas of work, for e.g. provide supporting role in school emergency exercises.

Requirement:

1. Preferably have relevant experience in providing frontline service / as receptionist (at least 1 – 2 years).

2. Preferably have experience working in a local mainstream school environment in providing service at reception counter.

3. Bilingual with proficiency in written and spoken English

4. PC literate.

5. People-oriented and have good interpersonal skills.

6. Able to multi-task and be composed under pressure.

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

Provide support to the Nutrition & Food Science (NFS) teachers. Duties will generally include:

• Some food preparations.
• Cleaning, cutting and distribution of ingredients for cooking lessons.
• Cleaning of Needlework room, kitchen work-stations, utensils and floor.
• Assist in inventory checks of kitchen equipment and ingredients as required by the NFS teachers.
• May include simple logistical arrangement/ keeping of records.
