We are on the lookout for an energetic and whip smart Account Manager to join our Herd MSL Consumer Team, based in Sydney – someone who is motivated to build a strong and successful career while working across some of Australia’s most iconic brands!
The role

In this role, you'll become an integral part of our consumer team, taking ownership of activity across several leading brands in our enviable portfolio. Having your finger on the pulse of the biggest industry trends, you will help our clients make informed, strategic decisions and create effective strategies for executing their goals.

What type of person will be successful in this role?
To be successful in the role, you will bring:
- Ideally 4 + years’ of PR / communications experience, working with consumer brands to deliver impressive results
- Curiosity and commitment to deeply understanding the categories your clients operate in and the cultural, social, and political landscape impacting PR
- Passion and proven experience contributing to the development and implementation of clever and creative multi-channel communications plans
- Experience delivering a variety of PR executions including events, publicity, influencer engagement, content, and partnerships
- Experience autonomously developing effective earned media, influencer and content strategies that ladder up to the broader communications strategy
- Strong media contacts and experience crafting, pitching, placing, and pivoting stories across diverse media channels and titles
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with creative flair and proficiency demonstrated across a variety of materials
- Confidence presenting to external and internal stakeholders and strong client management capability
- A strong understanding of the influencer and creator landscape, and experience in effective and authentic influencer marketing
- Project management skills and an ability to effectively lead campaigns and client accounts
- Good financial acumen, including experience developing and tracking budgets effectively
- Experience effectively managing team members in the delivery of work
- An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking accountability for identifying challenges, prioritising, and engaging team members effectively
