What you'll be doing;


You will be joining the "Vault team", fully embedded within the commercial division of Veolia, the Vault team looks after all waste secure destruction requirements of our customer, from seized goods to odd commercial waste.


As part of its growth plan and in order to , the Vault team aims to start a new activity of data wiping of electronic assets for reselling. The role of our intern will be to project manage the implementation of the hardware and help the team develop the procedure around the new activity security.


The role will offer good exposure to project management in the exciting context of a new activity launch.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add an Operations Engineering Intern located in our Salt Lake City, Utah site.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the student will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams as well as supporting the department in manufacturing process improvement projects, metrics management and training.

What a typical day looks like:

• Work with production management team, operational process, and testing
• Exposure to 3 different operational builds: Server Test, Server build and Rack build
• Collaborate with cross functional support teams: Quality, Training, Engineering, IT, Warehouse, etc.
• Complete Kaizen activity as assigned
• Attend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

• Junior/Senior level student pursuing Engineering degree related to Production/Operations/Process/Manufacturing
• Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
• Operations/production field related work experience, useful
• Strong computer skills
• Experience using hand tools
• Electrical pallet jack and Warehouse experience, helpful
• Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
• Previous internship experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting; a plus!

Salt Lake City Internship Program Requirements:

• Available to start on May 28th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
• Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
• 3.0 minimum GPA

• Generate & compile sales reports, forecasts, and prepare presentations to support monthly meetings or on-call business reviews
• Perform weekly Sales Order tracking and collaborate with SCM on backlog order Control
• Generate weekly warehouse stock lists to update with customers on their order status and notify SCM to prepare for deliveries
• Process Sales Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and export related documents on SAP
• Provide other administrative support (Contract drafting, correspondence handling…)

• Logistics support for IT department:
  • Daily perform inventory management of IT equipment
  • Arrange delivery/receiving them from/to other locations within Vietnam
  • Prepare regular inventory and consumption reports for management
  • Manage the handover of IT equipment to Bosch employees and vice versa
• Purchasing of IT equipment:
  • Quarterly support on purchasing tasks for department such as: gathering quotations, looking for competitive pricing, negotiating the price with suppliers
  • Process the purchase steps, good received and payment procedure
  • Work with related personnel from Finance, Accounting, Logistics, Administration department to complete the payment process for all IT invoices
• Administrative Assistant for IT team:
  • Assist supervisor to prepare self-service user guide, instructions, manuals, knowledge articles and provide training to Bosch employees
  • Analyze and distribute daily tasks to IT team based on the ticketing systems
  • Be the customer front facing for IT Service Management: service request, incident report, service consulting…
  • Documentation support for supervisor: meeting minutes, expense reports, task tracking
  • Analyze SAP reports to assist and fasten decision making in IT daily operations
• Event Planner for IT events:
  • Plan and organize internal IT department monthly activities, get together events
  • Plan, organize and run roadshows, exhibitions, product launching events both internally and externally for IT department
  • Be in charge of ad-hoc task if assigned
