• Report during the monthly operational meetings about the previous month's energy consumption, performance against benchmarks, and raise awareness about the need of reducing energy use, carbon emissions, and water usage.

Energy efficiency plan and project

• Shall develop and monitor environmental management practices and programs that support sustainable development.
• Prepare official proposals for each of the new projects, including estimated costs and anticipated savings in energy.
• Coordinate with the operational departments to go through the project execution process.
• Monitor and direct the execution of both short-term and long-term programs and strategies designed to reduce energy use.

Engineering and Proposal Manager (EPM) [ Process Analyzer System - Oil & Gas / Petroleum / Chemical ]

• Salary: $5,000 - $7,000 + VB
• Working Timing: Monday – Friday [ 8.30am – 5.30pm ]
• Working Location: Bukit Batok

Some of the key features of a PM include, but are not limited to:

• Acting as principal interface between Project BU and Sales BU upon received of Request For Quotation (RFQ) from Sales team.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposal for analyzer system, including all necessary documents (deviation list, drawings, spare parts list, project schedule, project organization chart, subvendor list, etc) as requested in Material Requisition.
• Prepare preliminary design and costing on Analyzer System, not limited to Sample Handling System, Analyzers, and Racks/Cabinets/Shelters with supporting by engineering team.
• Prepare and submit technical bid evaluation and revised proposal until all technical aspects are clarified with clients.
• Update Sales Manager on progress & status of quotations.
• Attend technical clarification meeting or kick-off meeting before / after award, wherever possible.
• Attend commercial negotiation with clients together with the Sales team whenever required.
• Handover awarded projects to Project Business Unit with compilation of all required documentation.
• Implementation of engineering process with best practices, standards, tools, policies, procedures, templates and other shared documentation available from Company.
• Source and evaluate new products, i.e. analyzers, sample system components, etc.
• Lead engineering & proposal team within territory, inclusive of workload distribution, managing performance, coaching, and mentoring/ train new/junior staffs within department.
• Support international project through other CAE offices as and when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of any information that are classified as Confidential.
• Decision making in line with operating procedures and company objectives.
• Assume leadership and management of engineering & proposal team members assigned and to develop them into proficient individual/team member.
• Ensuring timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage and ultimate disposition of information.
• Ensuring integrity of the proposal and engineering documentation archives in accordance with the Company Procedure.
• Providing assistance to support assembly work during production stage.
• Providing assistance to support Service Team in the organization during testing or site service.
• Supervising Document Controller in the preparation of final and As-built documentation, Operation & Maintenance Manual and Manufacturer Data Records.
• Conduct post-project reviews.
• Implementation and maintenance of the lessons learned process.
• Ensuring focus on understanding customer needs and solving of customer problems to improve customer satisfaction.
• Providing sales support on both engineering and commercial issues for system projects.
• Ensuring accurate and competitive cost estimation for major systems project pursuit.
• Providing assistance for involvement in bid process.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering.
• Preferably with working experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical industries and a good understanding of analytical products and systems.
• Willing to travel oversea and able to work long hours when required to meet deadline.
